I’ve gone back to my roots in wet plate collodion and started shooting clear glass ambrotypes again. The image, made up of a thin layer of silver is nearly invisible until held up against something dark and then it has a depth and vibrance to it which is just beautiful.

I always make sure to take a photo of everyone involved in a photo shoot after we wrap. The best shoots end like this. Model Ali, stylist extraordinaire Haley Bidez.
