Haven’t really updated many people on here about what’s been going on so here I go 😬 I’m midway through my first semester and the adjustment has been rough but I still haven’t dropped out so that’s something to be proud of 😅 Life has been so overwhelming and I’ve had more bad days than good days and sometimes it’s been super hard to keep it all in so I’ve been super emotional and letting insignificant things get to me. There are days I just want to lay in bed and give up but the people closest to me never let me for which I am thankful for. I’m slowly learning to think more positively and also learning to stop beating myself up for things way beyond my control. Things are slowly looking up as I started a seasonal job at Sephora this week. I have a lot on my plate with having 2 jobs and school but I’ve always wanted to work at Sephora so I couldn’t let this opportunity pass me by. I honestly don't know what the hell is going on with me. I’ll be okay one moment and the next, I'll be in the corner crying my eyes out. I wish this was just my time of the month coming but unfortunately I haven't had it in months so that’s not it (although thats a problem for another time in itself). Work is stressful as hell and don't even get me started on school. Like, yeah its cool that I'm back after 6 years but I'm beginning to remember why I left in the first place. The only change this time around is I (sort of) know what direction I want to go in this time around but all I have to do is finish school which is so hard. Im having the worst time financially which of course is putting a strain in my relationships at home but honestly, what can I do if my job isn't giving me the necessary hours I need? I really want to say “fuck it all” and quit but the other part of me doesn't want to let the department down because of my mental instability. I’m constantly feeling like I'm letting my friends and family down so I honestly don't want to be around them but I don't know how. I feel that I need to lock myself away somewhere that no one can see me anymore. I’ve been in terrible funks before and gotten out of them just fine but this time, I’ve dug my hole so deep, I’m not sure I can get out of it unscathed. I’m just so tired of it all, honestly.
