@gilmina-graeme
Greetings Everyone!
Due to whatâs happened in House Reinhardt, Iâve found myself with not many to RP with. Iâve made posts like this before and they seem to work out. If youâre interested in any RP w/Eva or even my precious @lianna-evermist. Please feel free to message me! I actively RP on WoW, but Iâm also willing to RP on Tumblr or in Discord chat. Thank you!Â
Some things to rememberâŚ
If your roleplay partner:
Flat out tells you âyour character sucksâ, âyour writing sucksâ etc
Guilt-trips you/says mean things when you roleplay with others and not them
Makes fun of you for not drawing your own character
Makes fun of you personally/mocks you
Isnât considerate of your real life problems/busy-ness
Tells you that you cannot roleplay with others
Tells you what to do/manipulates you/belittles you
Makes you constantly feel like youâre a terrible person when you arenât
Floods you with messages even after youâve told them to stop/that youâre busy and cannot roleplay
Find a new partner.
These are often common in relationships that are toxic. If you feel like youâre in a toxic relationship with your roleplay partner, drop them, get out. You deserve much better than that, and there ARE better, nicer, more polite partners out there for you. I promise.
*A small package along with a letter would find its way to those working under the House Reinhardt banner.*
âTo the loyal members of the House Reinhardt,
With some rather unnerving discoveries upon the Isles, weâve decided to cut off our efforts on helping the lands outside of Rosewood until we get plagues our beautiful lands under control. That said, those who were employed to help with such tasks will be dismissed, but you will continue to receive pay until you find other means of work as weâd never leave you without coin or a home. We know youâll want to help us with the issues on the Isles, but these matters are to be dealt with by our forces on the Isles and know them like the back of their hand. Should you need anything, while the Countess will not be in the city, you may send missive to her and she will help you in any way she can as she always has.Â
Thank you for all your hard work and service, we know you will continue to make a difference in this world.
With all the love in the world, Miersae Reinhardt.â
*Inside each package one would find three months worth of pay, and will continue to recieve these packages until they find other means of work.*

Gilmina set the letter down beside her. The coin was left in the parcel for now. She had read it before, but after the conversation with Canaveral, the medical assistant hoped to get a better insight of the red haired woman. Instead, she gotâŚ. sadness, And hope.
The end was always a new beginning. She had to remember that. After all, though she was dismissed, one can never truly be without a family. Going to one of the final blank pages of her journal, Gilmina began to write.
Dear Lady Miersae, Thank you for giving us a place to get stronger. House Reinhardt was the first home I ever had. Because of your kindness to others, I know the true meaning of love. It is giving encouragement and protecting others with care no matter who they are. Those that gathered under you banner are some of the best people I have ever encountered in my life. Such would not have been possible without your leadership. Just as with any home, we cannot be expected to remain forever. It may seem as an ending, but it is truly the beginning of many other possibilities in our lives. Thank you for the opportunity to grow and share positively with others as you showed us. Should you need anything on your endeavor, you know where to find us. Rosewood Isle will remain a place I call home. I would do anything to see to its safety. Take care, my Lady. You are in my prayers.
With Respect, Gilmina Graeme
She folded the letter, then brushed her tears aside. The greatest thing of levitating was no longer ruining her writing while crying. She took a second page, making note to have copies made or something more official written and sent.
Dear (Former Members of) House Reinhardt,
Thank you for the opportunity to live among you and learn with you. Though we are no longer on commitment to House Reinhardt, I continue to see each of you as family. Should you need anything, all you have to do is reach out. I hope we can all get to see each other before truly departing. I will leaving the Lillydale Clinic on Wednesday. To my understanding, some of the Lion Arch members are gathering in the old training grounds in Evelyn Forest that same evening.
If you have taken leave already, you are welcome back. If you have found a new home or place of work, it would be most wonderful to see you again. To hear of you again. May Light shine bright and the Shadows kind for each of our endeavors.
With Love, Gilmina Graeme
Letters written, Gilmina sat back against the rock she was beside. Once more, she brushed aside the tears, letting them fall into the surroundings. Now was the time for thinking long and hard. Many ways lay before her. Which one would become her new beginning? Before she walked anywhere, she had thinking to do.

Evangelineâs heart sank as she read through both The Countess and her dear friend, Miss Gilminaâs letters. She had lost so much throughout these last few months, nothing could have prepared her for losing her new family too. The young woman held back the tears stinging her eyes. She needed a clear head and clear eyes to write thoroughly.Â
Dear House Reinhardt,
I suppose I should start this with âdear former membersâ, but I canât possibly write that or else I might start crying. First, I apologize for being absent these past few weeks, as you know I had some troubles of my own â But that does not change the immense pain I am feeling.Â
To be frank, you all became my family. Iâve never laughed and smiled as much until I joined this House. You all took care of me and made me feel loved, and that I am eternally grateful. Iâve also made some wonderful friends, whom Iâll never forget. I hope we can all reunite and be a family again, someday.Â
I hope you all find eternal happiness.
Love, Eva.Â
As Eva added the finishing touches to the letter, she felt a stray tear escape and slide down her cheek and drop onto the page. âOh, goodnessâŚâ She mumbled, âIâve ruined the letter with my tears.â She spoke to no one else but herself and thatâs what hurt most. She looked up and stared at her window adjacent to the desk and let the tears just fall.

Closure
There had been a lot she expected of this last meeting between them all. Part of her had been hoping for a peaceful goodbye, a solemn celebration of the time theyâd spent together- as contradictory as that was. The rest of her had been prepared for fire and brimstone and a violent, bitter end to it all.
In the end, she had gotten a little bit of both. There had been tension, there had been raised voices, and perhaps they could have said a bit more. She could have pushed Siegfried up to say a few words- but⌠at the end of the night, Lorna could not say she was dissatisfied with how it had gone.
As a matter of fact⌠she felt a lot better for it. She had spoken from her heart and come to terms with the reality that no, she was no longer a Knight of House Reinhardt- and that it didnât matter one bit to them that she wasnât. Lorna had been able to confess how she felt to them, to express her gratitude for all the things theyâd done for her over these months theyâd spent together. Sheâd even gotten to kiss Siegfried on the cheek, twice. (And made him blush like a maid!)
She never told them that she had a list of things she wanted to do before she turned north again, and had been checking it off. Without House Reinhardtâs protection, she was vulnerable to the monster she knew had not simply vanished. This time, she did not mean to wait around to see if he found her again.
She hadnât been able to see everyone she wanted to talk to, hadnât been able to thank them all. But as she returned to her room for the night⌠she thought perhaps, she might be blessed by people who knew how much she cared, without her ever saying it.
For a moment, she thought about what Conwulf had said. It was hard to believe he planned to continue the work of the Lions Reach (how she hated that name, now) from the Isles⌠but for all she was going through, Lorna had not deluded herself into thinking he was not a liar. Maybe there was purpose for her there, however he meant to go about it.
But if sheâd learned anything from this dismissal, it was that purpose- belonging- was not guaranteed⌠by anything. She kept that in mind as she packed her belongings, what was left of them, in her saddlebags. Her heart wanted to send her out to exact her retribution, but some part of her compelled her to wait just a little longer.
As she packed that iconic silver armor away, it weighed more heavily on her than before. It was a gift for a woman of the House Reinhardt⌠she no longer fit the description. The time had come for her to set aside those trappings for the task at hand.
Even as she spitefully packed away this cherished gift.. Lorna knew she wasnât going to leave right away. There was still something she had to do here.. she just hadnât figured out what, yet.
Thank you @house-reinhardt and co for the memories. Thank you all who came out last night. Thank you @emilliacorwin and @lordgabrielhartshorne for all your work youâve done. Especially for letting the Clinic lives on @outreachclinic. Thank you @conwulf for communicating more to our characters ICly. Of course, thank you @madame-miersae for making House Reinhardt a reality, and thank you @gaveshillvack for your encouragement through it all.
Thank you everyone else who came out! Hereâs to a brighter future for all of us and those who could not be there. @patiencekindnesscourage @lorna-rivercroft @caerston @missevangelinewinters @stromic-steel @beetmacdonell @gloryofsteel @the-canaveral
Darkest Before Dawn
Lorna rode through the gates under cover of darkness, the waning moon looming just over the horizon. The past few days had been harrowing, something that was perhaps more her own fault than anyone elseâs. It was still hard to come to terms with, and truth be told, she had yet to extricate herself from the bitterness and anger that lurked in her heart.
That anger would not be directed at her peers, however- and for that, at least, she was grateful. She was not ready to confront this again so soon, but the alternative was to leave them in silence and risk losing everything that she could still have. It wasnât fair to do that to them; she would not repeat the insult that had been inflicted upon her.
But no matter how certain she was of that, she still did not know what she would say to them when she arrived. What could she say?
Such uncertainty was part of why she had arrived so early, before the sun had risen. She needed time to think. Perhaps she was assigning too much significance to this last meeting, as she had assigned too much to those oaths and vows she had been so callously dismissed from. But no matter how she felt about that, she knew that one way or another, she would not run from this.
Her breath rose in clouds of mist at this hour, the darkest before the dawn. If anyone wondered about her peculiar choice in timing, no one dared question her aloud. For once, she was grateful for that, too.
She sat down beside Salty and waited for the doors to open, patting the great brown horseâs side absently. Lorna hadnât bothered to ask for the time, but she imagined that she had plenty to waste, now. Time enough to gather her courage and collect her thoughts, hopefully, before this fond farewell.
Be soft. Do not let the world make you hard. Do not let pain make you hate. Do not let the bitterness steal your sweetness. Take pride that even though the rest of the world may disagree, you still believe it to be a beautiful place.
