Obsessed with elliott stardew. he’s like a French aristocrat who is also a beach bum. he looks like young Fabio and talks like a dove chocolate wrapper. He’s polishing his cuff links while shooing a crab out of his pocket. he’s writing a whole entire novel with a duck-feather quill. He’s brushing his hair 100 strokes before bed. He’s staring out at the sea at least 5 hours a day. his Oxford shoes are full of sand. he has 16g in his bank account. he’s not unemployed bc yearning is a full-time job.

I have this notion of a headcanon that Elliott was raised in an unconventional community of some sort (hippie commune? Strict orthodox religious community? Doomsday prepper survivalists?), and that's why his personality and aesthetic are so seemingly disconnected. Dude's stitching together a personality for the 'outside world' using bits and pieces of whatever gets his attention.

Crab. Pomegranate. Bonsai tree. Yes. Of course. He's writing a sci-fi novel about an alien civilization on a distant planet because he finds it to be such a relatable concept.

I love modern campy horror. Lisa Frankenstein and Renfield are both so good and everything I could want in a movie, horror, comedy, an amazing use of color and costumes.

One of my favorite things about John dies at the end is all of the unknowable cosmic horrors have the sense of humor of a bunch of edgy seventh grade boys. That just seemed so real to me
