Yea! Theres a run (2006?) where you see all the women he's helped in a therapy circle. Some had a abusive boyfriends, were prostitutes, etc. and he put their assailants in the hospital. Made sure they couldn't be hurt again.

There was a hatchet guy going around (80s run) killing homeless ppl or just ppl in general so he stepped in to find the guy, when Crowley relayed the news to him.

So I think "travelers of the night" pertain to anyone who happens to be going from one place to another during the night time.
