For the show I had to go see I chose Between Riverside and Crazy at Roadless Traveled Productions. It was a really interesting show and its always strange to see some of the things you worked on on stage.

This photo shows the seams before the caulk was added

Roughed out locations of the fragments so the paint could be cohesive. The paint treatment was changed slightly from the sample, we nixed the purple as it was too overpowering

These are close ups of the Caesar platforms, this is after the paint treatment was changed from cobblestones to a more organic treatment. Throughout the process the seams were an issue, in the end we used caulk to fill them while assembled on stage.

Here are progress photos of making a much smaller book with two folios. The book cloth is made from an old topographic map and standard spine cloth.

This is a paint sample for the Julius Caesar fragments after the treatment was switched from mosaic to a more organic treatment.

In bookmaking class we made our textbooks as our first book. The book cloth is made out of old wallpaper with normal spine cloth.
