This was a bit harder but my internet is wonky and I snapped this earlier today so we’re gonna fly with it. This is the first boss in The Lost City of Amdapor Hard and is named Achamoth. When looking up the name it basically means “Mother” and “she who brings forth”, depending on what mystic religion you go with. All of it is fitting for the dungeon. 

I’m thinking for the actual design, Square Enix did a cross between a wasp moth and a tiger moth. That is my best guess anyway! There are many different species of these two and if one was to combine them, you could develop something of this nature.

Lost Lambs! Or Mutton if you’re gonna chew on them?

Anyway there are a few different “types” of sheep running around Eorzea. The adults all seem to be Mad or Ornery but maybe that’s because their babies are lost...

In the interest of combining my love of Final Fantasy with my love of screenshots and animal knowledge, I thought it might be fun to do an in game animal wildlife series! 

First up is the Hoverfly Swarm! I honestly thought they were bees because I sometimes forget to read enemy names (Oö) but it’s now apparent that the designers did their research! It seems some species of hoverflies have black and yellow markings similar to bees.

Taxonomy: Bloodborn > Vilekin > Swarm > Flies
