#being able to explore art studios at my work study job is so so so fun like it's so magical in there!!#i also have access to so many resources just because i can go into classrooms that are restricted to people enrolled in classes #sometimes i am very sad i can't work in the summer #but then i remember having to monitor the shop and mix photo chemistry and all the missing my job goes away.

obsessed with the fact that i was a raging misandrist from ages 6 to 11. mostly think it came out of kids in first grade's obsession with crushes and who liked who and them forcing me to pick a guy i liked so i ended up just hating it all and hating how my life seemingly had to revolve around some guy i didn't even like. but realizing i maybe did not like guys at all and could actually probably have a completely fulfilling and joyous life with no men at around age 12 pulled me straight out of that. and then some of my friends realized they were guys. and now honestly most of my friends are guys. all the men in my life are people i alone chose to be in my life with zero social pressure for them to be there and i think that's beautiful.

no but literally trying to describe the premise of the raven cycle to people is so embarrassing it’s like. It’s YA fearuring high schoolers (red flag) who are private school boys (red flag) and one girl (BIGGER red flag that says “bechdel test? unlikely”) who’s kinda quirky (“not like other girls” red flag) who’s not psychic but she wants to be and she’s supposed to kiss and/or kill one of the guys (apparent heterosexuality red flag) who wears sperries and khakis (BIGGEST RED FLAG) and also all the guys are kinda in love with each other but not always explicitly (queerbaiting red flag) and there’s a quest to find this dead welsh guy and a lot of magic that’s also a metaphor (pretentious red flag) & a lot of homoerotic descriptions of cars. anyway it’s my favorite series and -
