I want to share all my feelings, just spill them out all over everywhere, but then it’s a mess and no one likes a mess...
..but I want someone who can take that mess and not make me feel bad for it.
please.
“Because on some level, even though it never turns out to be true, and even though I should know better, I still expect life to be like the movies.”
E.Lockhart, The Boy Book (via goodreadss)
I’m trying to get out of that mindset that it’ll all turn out like the movies, I’m such a romantic I don’t want to let go of that ideal, but I must and I finally am.
I remember when this was me in the past. I was paralyzed in fear; fear of loss, fear of judgement, fear of the unknown, but most of all fear of myself. I let anxiety cripple me for years, keep me in relationships I wasn’t meant to be in, keep me in situations not serving me, and keep me from growing and moving through life. I was locked in a box, of barriers between me and myself, my sexuality, my passions, my joy. All these barriers I had to break down with full force to come into myself and to be who I am to live the life I’m destined for. All the barriers I had up, the box I locked myself in is now open, and I’m free, finally for the first time in my life.
I still find each day too short for all the thoughts I want to think, all the walks I want to take, all the books I want to read, and all the friends I want to see.

too real
This is so relatable, been out of the country for a while now, but I can't overstate this.
