Oh, there are a lot of ways the pirate can take the demand. He can take it in ways that border on things he probably should not be thinking about or he can take it as a challenge. Lips curl up in a grin as he closes the distance between them, leaning his head down into her personal space & bringing the hook up to tilt her chin up.

They both know he wouldn’t dare cut her so he’s not worried about it., not worried about her lashing out because of it or backing away from him like she’s afraid he’ll hurt her. “Uma, uma, uma.” He gently begins, that grin turning into a full-blown smirk now. “Yer going to have to be a lot more specific than that. You know me.”

            𝐔𝐌𝐀'𝐒 𝐂𝐇𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐈𝐅𝐓𝐒 𝐀𝐓 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐌𝐏𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐅𝐑𝐎𝐌 𝐇𝐈𝐒 𝐇𝐎𝐎𝐊 , a mischievous glint in her eyes and a challenging smirk to match . harry was fun to play with    ;     he’s unpredictable and that’s one of the things she loves so much about him and games like these . he repeats her name and uma can’t help the chuckle . ❝ that’s my name , ❞ she taunts , leaning closer to him then . 

            but she has no interest in ending the game so quickly , surrendering so easily . so her hand curls around his wrist where he grips the base of the hook , her other hand bringing her sword up against his side . like she knows he’d never hurt him , uma is confident harry knows the same is true about her . ❝ why don’t you surprise me , hmm ? ❞

         𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐀𝐘𝐒 𝐇𝐄'𝐋𝐋 𝐖𝐀𝐈𝐓 , 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐈𝐓'𝐒 𝐄𝐗𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐋𝐘 𝐖𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐒𝐇𝐄 𝐍𝐄𝐄𝐃𝐒 𝐓𝐎 𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐑 . it’s exactly what she’d expected him to say , but the feeling in her chest isn’t any less unexpected . there’s a plan in place , and everyone has their part to play . harry is the only one she trusted to lead the crew in her stead , and it was a responsibility she didn’t give lightly . uma has no doubt , however , that harry is clear on the objective and his role in it . he’ll wait , but she won’t be gone long . she suspects it won’t take more than a day , once the barrier has come down and the isle is set free , for the two of them to reunite . she isn’t worried . she’s   . . .   excited . 

           a gleeful smile graces her lips . this was finally going to be it . they would be free , and her and her crew could finally live the life they’d dreamed of . they could finally set sail . they could see the world beyond the docks they’d been confined to for ages . 

           there’s a swell of warmth as her pinky closes around his hook , drawing him in closer to press her forehead to his . ❝ i know , ❞ she says , voice low .
