Mila Fundraiser & Upcoming Shows
We had the honor of being invited to play a private fundraiser for the upcoming CG film Mila
It was an amazing experience meeting and hanging out with the creators of this film about a child suriving the WWII bombing of Trento, Italy. It's inspired by the true story of Film creator Ciznia Angelini's mother.
The film is to raise awareness of the damage war brings to civilians and especially the impact on child survivors. The film is still looking for funding to finish rendering and lots of other post stuff, but was worked on entirely by volunteers for the modeling/animation/rigging and all that other good CG art stuff.

In other Girl Fry News
We have a couple of shows lined up. We have tickets available for a show in West Hollywood on July 7th at State Social House.
We'll also be going to Las Vegas again at the Double Down the next night! See the shows page for any updates.
The Frylander tour was a great success although the last show was cancelled due to the venue temporarily closing for a surprise remodeling or something.
We are off tour now and working on writing and recording but we should have shows intermittently in the Tri State area. We'll try to get better about remembering to post new stuff here on the site instead of just social media!

Queer All-Girl Band needs fundraising support
Hi there. My name is Jessy Spiño.
I have a band called Girl Fry. We are best described as Latin Punk, or fringe punk:
Girl Fry has been on 6 tours, have published two albums (the latest was released June 2015) and are working on a 3rd. Thing is, albums are very costly (so is converting our newest album into vinyl format). For these reasons, we are currently running a campaign to raise money for vinyl mastering, next recording, and tons of new stuff if all goes well.
Girl Fry operates on donations and sales of merchandise. Our goal is to perform as many free shows to all ages crowds in the queer community. Patrons are the biggest help to our traveling troupe. We have big plans to continue traveling and recording. Our fundraising deadline is January 12th.
