MY BAND NEEDS YOUR HELP!
Ladies and gentlemen! Both and neither! The pornblogs that keep reblogging anime from me!
First I would like to say thank you for following my humble blog. Whether you’ve been here from the start (when I posted art regularly) or joined last night I appreciate you taking the time to check me out!
Second, I would like to ask for some help.
I’m in a band called Girl Fry, and we just released our third album! We sunk a lot of time, blood, and tears into getting this album done and we’d like to spread the word!
We are a Latinx punk group based out of Southern California. Our fearless leader, @jessyspino, is Brazilian and Ecuadorian. I’m Mexican.
We call ourselves “Fringe Punk” because we teeter between traditional punk and something new. Bringing in traditional Andean instruments, Portuguese lyrics, and soon some songs in Spanish. Wrapping it all up nicely with our own life experiences in both the music world and the queer community. We are both gay. Really, really really, gay.
We have big dreams for our small band, touring the world! But first we need to be able to leave the U.S. Which is where we need your help.
We have been trying hard to get the funding together to travel to Vancouver, Canada. Every dollar from this album is going into the following: -Making sure the car can make it to Canada -Renewing/ getting Passports -Emergency funds in case our housing/car falls through. -Making sure Raymi and Luci, the band cats, have everything they need while we are away.
So how can you help? The obvious way is to purchase the album or our merch, but just reblogging this will be helping us get the word out and that would be amazing!
