Spent the morning getting every inch of my cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine x-ray'd this morning. New bone and joint doctor is starting off hot and heavy with the imaging. I just spent 20 minutes being guilted by my husband to call off work again. Why? Because I hurt myself on Wednesday and I am still in pain. Sounds reasonable, right? So, why do I feel like a failure, because I have a history of body pain, back injury, spinal fusion, spinal cord stimulator surgery, fibromyalgia , etc, etc and I can't even go to the local urgent care for treatment because I get called a "pill seeker" even though I am not on anything woo-hoo to begin with.
