Venice is a bogeyman inhabiting a disposable meat suit that she can freely transform as needed. She pretty much a mixture of two parts: her body's human personality, and the parasitic fear her mind is combined with. So she feels both young and very old at the same time.

Her strain of bogeyman are reflections of the fear around them. They lack identities of their own because they are everyone else's fear made physical. That's why Venice feels identity-less. She really isn't herself anymore, but she's instead a mixture of everyone else's fear.

Because of how quickly her identity changes, Venice picks up different names to mark different parts of herself. She calls her pre-bogeyman existence Arlette, a part of her identity is Jacquelin, and then she has several other names to mark different stages of her life and who her big influences and focuses are. So that's why she's between Venice and Jessamine right now because she's not sure who she's more of.

Coming from a person who doesn’t know. but I understand the need to present a solid facade of perfection. Mostly I’m just intrigued by the “special something” you have in mind.

A lady doesn't tell her secrets. Either you rest up and wait it out, or we fight early. I don't care either way. I think you'll enjoy this secret much more if you're completely healed though. Perhaps after one of your business meetings or nightly outings with your employees.

Wow. Thank you. I couldn't have guessed. I need to know who was running it, what do they do. What's their goal, their plan of attack. What exactly happened in your meeting. How many people were there, how armed were they, how organized were they.
