Y'all, her wife Sonali lost her entire family (husband, 2 sons and parents) in the 2004 Indian Ocean Tsunami. She wrote a book about the experience which Fiona read and was so moved by it she asked to meet with her. They bonded and Sonali got a second chance at love. Their story is much more beautiful than you think.

Her memoir is called Wave.
