"Which shuck's been eatin' my cake?"
"Hey Frypan, how do Grievers like their eggs?… Terrifried”
"Maybe you should leave the jokes to me."
Thomas tries to tell gladecook that ‘It isn’t what it looks like, I swear!’
As far as Thomas can tell, everyone else in the Homestead is fast asleep. From across the room, he can hear Chuck’s steady breathing, but other than that… silence. Pure, blissful silence. Until the sound of his stomach interrupts it.
After that, the only logical thing to do is to tiptoe to the kitchen, rifling through the food supply before he finds something that looks appetizing. Something that seems to be specifically for breakfast for tomorrow. His stomach grumbles again, practically begging to be fed, and Thomas convinces himself that Frypan won’t notice.
Of course, that thought— along with Thomas taking the first bite— is followed by the sound of a throat being cleared behind him. Despite his full mouth, Thomas does his best to hide his midnight snack. “Vis ishn’t vhat it loo’s like, ah shwear.” he manages.
Knowing when someone was in his kitchen was almost like a sixth sense to the keeper. He could be knocked out and snoring like a buggin' pig and he'd still know someone was pinching his food. Slowly he raised from his hammock, eyes narrowing as he scanned the others around him, checking for any that were empty.
Just one, but he wasn't going to try and guess who it belonged to. Instead he stood, heading for the homestead, for his kitchen; for the culprit. Not even WICKED could save their poor soul from the wrath he was going to lay on them at pinching his food; especially in the middle of the night.
At the sight of Thomas stood there, caught red handed in every sense of the word, Frypan's hands moved to his hips, not even trying to hide the look of disapproval on his face.
"I ain't a dumb shank, if it quacks like a duck. You know how long we've been waitin' for buggin' bread to come up through the box? And now it's all been stuffed in your shuck mouth, what do you think the other boys're gonna say when I dish out eggs and no toast tomorrow, huh?"

I WAS PRACTICALLY CRYING AND THE STEWARDESS ON THE PLANE GV ME A TISSUE NOT KIDDING
I was on the plane ride from Perth to Cairns and I was writing my own story on my laptop, and made myself cry and the stewardess came and sat next to me and asked what was wrong and i gave her my laptop and she cried too. Fucking Maria the stewardess. She was bae.
