GLOBOX is Rayman's scaredy toad best friend. He has abilities to create rainclouds to protect himself and his friends and family though mostly prefers to run and hide in the face of danger. Whether Globox is welcome to it or not somehow he always gets mixed up with the THREATS THAT PLAGUE WHERE HE RESIDES IN THE GLADE OF DREAMS. Be it through getting captured, or attacked by enemies. Globox in his mainverse lives in a large tree-based home with his 650 kids and wife Uglette.

One. FIRST AND FOREMOST. General RP etiquette applies that's always a given. 

I don't always get things right but I will always try to be the best I can be. Be sure to inform me if I can improve on anything etc. I'm friendly and I'm here to have fun as are you.

My portrayal of Globox will lean heavily towards Rayman 2 & 3 though I shall be changing pieces from both accordingly since sometimes the former contradicts the latter due to the early 2000s - edge humor in 3 . I will have a verse for Legends & Origins because I loved those games too but for the most part this is heavily, HEAVILY BASED ON THE ORIGINAL RAYMAN TRILOGY SPECIFICALLY 2 & 3 in terms of characterisation and background story for my Globox !

That being said I don't support Ubisoft as a company . I'm simply here to focus on the silly big frog I grew up with .

Two. DNI / I don't engage with people who are problematic or present problematic behaviour such as proshipping/pedophilia/incest or you are a terf/ableist/racist/antisemitist or you show any kind of hate to anyone like that . If you see me interacting with someone problematic likely I haven't been informed yet and shall deal with it accordingly as soon as I am informed. I don't support anyone who does any of that nasty behavior and I never will and if you know you engage in such behaviors then please refrain from interacting with me. You're not welcome. Six. SHIPPING eeeh, IF IT FEELS RIGHT / Globox's wife only really showed up in Rayman 2 in every other game is almost like she's out of the picture . I'll be incredibly selective as my main verse is Rayman 2 but hey if there's chemistry it doesn't hurt to ask .Still no smut. Ever. It's really not for me.

/ so Globox and other Rayman characters we didn't see in Captain Laswerhawk are confirmed to be alive though I highly doubt anything would come of that so face value & good job I have my own verse instead !

The front screen of his helmet flashes a little as he watched the otherworldly being approaching him, he tilts his side curiously, following the amphibian's movements and gestures before understanding.

He wiggles a little to loosen some of the seaweed that was holding him in place with the only one that was life threatening was the one wrapped around his neck just under his helmet, he tries to move his glove less fingers to try to loosen it but was having a bit of trouble.

He didn't mean to become a burden to this helpful frog, he was just surprised by their presence.

𝐀𝐡  ?  𝐀𝐇  ! Naturally  being  amphibious  he  can  see  underwater  ,  even  if  it  was  his  last  acknowledgement  to  find  the  vegetation  coiled  around  the  sufferer's  neck  .  -  He  had  only  really  noticed  because  the  strange  creature  was  trying  to  break  free  of  the  bind  in  any  case  .  -  So  he  recalibrates  focus  to  that  pivotal  point  .  Without  teeth  he  has  no  hope  in  chewing  him  free  so  instead  he  tries  to  tear  it  with  his  hands  .

Just  hoping  it  will  be  successful  ,  noticing  that  the  other  was  wearing  a  helmet  of  some  kind  seemed  to  be  helping  with  breathing  and  oxygen  .

At least he was somewhat dry, a clean hoodie on but his hair still wet, making it to be from front to back for the weight of the water, it was when he heard the voice of Globox when he got out from his bathroom to see him on the living room.

❝  Gee , thanks , thank you very much ...  ❞ His  expression  twists  a  little sour .  Maybe he was just a little fragile because he was dealing with a lot right now . He  hadn't  noticed  he  was  coated  in  mud  and  honestly  hadn't  expected  Rayman  to  mind  right  now  ,  ... after a moment of silence and immediate regret he has a change of heart . He  likes  water  at  least  even  if  he  didn't  really  feel  like  it  at  the  moment  with  all  this  grief  .  It  might  actually  be  a   good  idea  to  refamiliarise  himself  with  a  relaxing  volume  of  water  . 

𝐒𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥  𝐡𝐞  𝐦𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐬  .  ❝  Okay  ...  ❞ And  goes  to  sought  after  the  tub  ,  Globox  honestly  prefers  a  lake  but  given  what  is  left  of  that  particularly  heavy  storm  cloud  he  had  casted  raging  outside  ,  and  the  mud  it  had  upturned  ;  the  bath  was  a  more  immediate  option  . 

By  now  he  had  familiarised  himself  with  how  Rayman's  house  works  ,  right  down  to  the  little  taps  in  this  wet-room  .  It  takes  a  little  while  and  patience  but  he  soon  returns  ,  feeling  a  little  more  relaxed  than  he  had  before  .  He's  a  frog  so  he  didn't  need  a  towel  but  it'd  be  better  than  dripping  water  all  over  Rayman's  floor  .   

He  joins  his  pal  on  the  furniture  . Dragging his feet until he just slumps next to Rayman . ❝ Thank you ... ❞ More sincere now his eyes seem to wander around the room , feeling a little lost in the fog that is his mind .

It's  strange  how  he  just  froze  like  that  . ❝   Are  we  playing  musical  statues  ? !  ❞  He  asks  ,  face  right  close  to  the  poor  little  astronaut  .  ❝   But  I  didn't  hear  any  music  !  -  Oh  wait  !  Does  that  mean  I'm  out  because  I'm  moving  ? ! ❞   The  gigantic  frog  freezes  in  place  ,  a  finger  to  his  wide  mouth  .

“You’re in New York.” He says like it’s obvious- which it was. Then he remembers just who- and what, he’s talking to. Mentally kicking himself for not - c’mon. The frog’s probably terrified outta his mind. His expression softens a touch and his body language relaxes with it. “Sorry. It’s- not fair to expect you to know when you’ve barely been- here, for that long.” My name is Ray fil,” his melody is cut off by a cough and the harsh reminder of first impressions. He’s not scary, then he’ll embarrass himself instead. The words more like a voice in his head heckling him from the crowd than his own. “It’s Ray.”

Awkwardness aside, it allows him to get a better look at the strange frog.. toad? He could be a toad. He’s blue, and is- much bigger than any frog mutant he’s seen. Though admittedly he hasn’t seen many. Lucky he doesn’t seem to be having any injuries, hiding or not. Not where I should be? He’s not sure what that means exactly. Still, he steps backward, facing the other. “…we could help you get back home? There’s a few rivers that eventually lead back to the woods. It’s a pretty long walk, but…” he shrugs. “Do you know where you were before you got mutated?”

Thankfully  the  giant  frog  didn't  catch  the  latter's  matter-of-fact  statement  .  He's  been  around  sarcasm  before  ,  so  much  so  that  he  doesn't  hardly  register  it  ,  it's  just  background  noise  ,  that  or  he  didn't  have  the  focus  and  intelligence  to  truly  recognise  it  .  ❝  I  forgive  you  .  ❞

He  only  says  because  there  was  an  apology  mixed  up  in  there  .

❝  Ray  -  ?  !  ❞   His  tone  raises  an  octave  ,  sounding  ecstatic  and  relieved  then  it  doesn't  manifest  any  further  .  Oh  ?  Oh  .  HIS  name  is  also  Ray  .   ❝  Well  ,  my  name's  Globox  !  ❞

of course her dad humors her as much as he can , but she hardly knows the difference. she would attempt to say the word globox , but she might misinterpret what he said so instead she resorts to " hi froggy .. " twisting a bit in place while admiring her new friend. " i'm mei , my mom is gonna sleep in MY bed when she comes home from the hospital and not satsuki's bed because i'm a BIG girl now ! " that is a lot of information , but she really is proud of the fact her mom is gonna sleep in her bed rather than her sister's own.

"I'm from Planet Earth." Ruby responds. "I was um....chasing after these little creatures in flying subs. They almost looked like rabbits? Kind of cute but...weird looking. Next thing I knew there was a blinding light and when I came up to the surface I was here." Hands pat at her knees as she frowns slightly.

"I'm sure they know I'm okay. After prom, I started doing big sea adventures and exploring. A way to branch out a little, y'know? Besides there was a way to send me here then obviously there's got to be a way to send me back home, right?"

A  giant  mermaid  !  Compared  to  Globox  they  usually  just  came  in  small  and  medium  height  so  giant  was  something  else  .  Still  there's  an  applause  and  he  cheers  for  her  previous  success  !

Frustration  dissipates  and  is  replaced  with  a  reassuring  smile  .  .❝  Of  course  !  And  we're  going  to  find  it  ,  Ruby  !  And  get  you  back  home  to  Ear-t  ❞ He  means  ' Earth '  .  .❝  And  you  can  tell  your  parents  about  the  raindancing  blue  frog  you  met  on  you  journeys  !  ❞

Run from her pain, that's what she does when it was like this... it wasn't healthy, that is true, but she didn't know how to do it, how to cope with something like this.

"I have to be fine for those that count on me... if I show weakness I can let my people down..."

But her tears run freely down her cheeks, he is right, she couldn't ignore it anymore.

Yep  ,  he  thought  as  much  she  reminds  him  so  much  of  his  best  friend  sometimes  .  Rayman  struggled  so  hard  with  just  being  vulnerable  .  It  was  okay  accept  things  .  Globox  knows  it'll  take  time  .  For  himself  to  truly  .  He  couldn't  fix  it  .  He  can  only  be  hear  for  her  .

Globox  walks  along  side  her  ,  hooking  Peach  into  a  one  armed  hug  as  they  did  .❝  You  don't  have to  be  afraid  of  weakness  ,  or  letting  people  down  .  ❞  He  laughs  bitterly  . ❝ Look  at  me  !  I  get  scared  a  lot  and  -  I  used  to  be  ashamed  but  Rayman  told  me  that  it  was  okay  .  It's  only  natural  to  feel  -  ❞  He's  lost  any  intelligent  strand  of  thought  he  may  have  had  though  saves  it  by  lightly  shrugging  and  humming  . ❝  Not  okay  . ❞

A nod was given towards the other, he can wait for him while he takes a shower, he leaves towards his house, 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐚𝐲 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐛𝐲𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐚 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝, 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐢𝐟 𝐢𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩.

Said the hero giving one last glance at Globox. Letting him to say good by, a hand over the other's shoulder as a silent gesture of understandment.

Globox  nodded  and  said  his  goodbyes  ,  thankful  that  Rayman  cares  about  Globox's  feelings  even  if  he  doesn't  understand  them  .  He's  probably  been  there  for  longer  than  he  anticipated  ,  just  staring  blankly  after  all  that  was  said  and  done  .
