So Mona's been my longest running oc on here because she was made around the time of me watching "The Neon Demon" so that was like 2016, I was obsessed with the gold paint slathered on the main characters neck and they while doodling i doodled Mona and I was like yeh she'd look good in a model setting with gold paint being slathered on her neck. Her nickname is 'crybaby' because she has watery eyes and tears up a lot, but is usually pretty stoic so the nickname is pretty ironic?
Blair is a flirtatious monster girl (what monster she is is debatable but it leans into looking deer like) originally she came from the idea of a kooky series of residents in one apartment complex, cos I always find that concept pretty fun (especially in an horror aspect like Silent Hill 4: The Room and such lol) She's part of a big family of elite magic users but she's just vibing and having a good time, flirting with Mona every chance she can get.
Bearman and Mr Hebinuma are newish, like a year old? I just like men with a 'dirty bulk' to them, (like the guy who played bokuto in the haikyuu musical-his wrestling career era tho). I just enjoy seeing a husky man and that was the main thing I was thinking about while drawing Bearman, with Mr Hebinuma its more how lanky he is and his brown hair with pink stripes, he's more flashy in comparison. I just enjoy opposite body types attracting, same with Mona and Blair lmao.
And because I wanted to keep the Bear and Snake themes to their characters, it ended up being that Bearman is a retired fighter who got out after doing some pretty dirty stuff. Mainly because he has a little brother to take care off and Mr Hebinuma came into town to get him to come back and then stuff happens lol. Its like a hibernating bear coming out for spring and a snake shedding its skin, its got that kind of vibe going on, 'plot' wise lmao.
The Catboys are just Catboys lol, they run a cat cafe where they do theme nights, cosplay and generally be dumb for love. They are named after their breeds so theres: Forest Cat(shy leader, lil gothic and meek, eager to please though), Bobtail (Hyper and impish, likes to dress in Gyaru and Decora inspired outfits), Bombay (sporty and goofy, generally does the best in anything he does) , Brit Shorthair (Feminine, snarky and pretty catty), Maine Coon (Prankster, likes to mess with Forrest Cat a lot, does fortune telling on Saturdays), and Scottish Fold (pretty sleepy and lazy, pretty in his own world)
And the Succubus is sort of in the same world as Mona and Blair, but shes just my lil on the side, "I just need to draw a busty gal quick to get rid of this itch on my brain" character. The main idea was that her face and torso are of this idealised woman to entice victims in, and then she has massive ass claws to keep them in place while she sucks out their essence, and then monsters legs too cos fun lol. She's of the same realm predator wise as like any female insect that ends up killing the male when they court. She's also pretty clumsy outside of hunting for her next meal and she's just cute to me lmao. No name tho, I'm still trying to figure out one that'll stick after all these years of me drawing her in my times on horny needs lmao.
