today is the 10th aniversary of glee. some people think that glee was just another tv show, but it wasn’t.
i don’t know if you are familiar with the show but it always stood for the underdogs, for the people who didn’t have a voice. glee broke so many barriers by covering real issues like domestic violence, bullying, homosexuality, transgender people, eating disorders, and so many more.
it was honestly the first time i felt represented
glee was way more than a tv show because its goal was to make a difference in this world.
and now 10 years later i know for sure that generations to come will fall in love with it as much as i have and its message will live on and on.
