After long consideration, I have decided to stop offering downloads for Glee music. Having to constantly find alternatives to upload the music and having to reupload the vast body of music of Glee is very time consuming, and I don't have the time for that (nor the spirit). I will continue posting covers, both official EP and Album covers as custom episode covers, along with the song order and I will have a post up on how I edited the ID3 tags so the songs look nice on iTunes.
If you want to download Glee songs I highly recommend visiting this site.
wish you didn't choose to abandon everyone here and make us now visit that lame other page for glee downloads :/ a "gleek central" page (aka YOURS) was so much better and easier to use :'(
aw sweetie, I didn't choose to abandon you guys. I was pretty much forced to by law. Having to reupload 5 seasons of Glee music over and over again takes a LOT of time (specially for a college student), and frankly I've ran out of places to upload it to. I really wish I could continue, but every time I finish reuploading everything it all gets taken down again, and it hurts to see hours of work go to waste like that.
I just wanted to say thank you for all of your hard work, I know it must have been a pain for you to keep putting up the covers, but I really appreciated it! Thanks so much((:
Thank you so much for this message, it means a lot to me.
Seeing as I won't be uploading my special ID3 tagged versions anymore, here's a little guide on how to continue sorting your iTunes the way your previous GleekWeekly downloads looked.
Episodes
Download your music ( I highly recommend this site )
Unzip and add to iTunes
Go to the 'Songs' tab and sort by 'Date Added' this will put your newly added Glee songs right at the top. Glee songs are usually tagged as singles, which would mean they would be all over the place on 'Albums' view.
Select all the songs from the episode and right click, select 'Get Info'
Input all the info:
Artist: Glee Cast
Album Artist: Glee Cast
Album: Episode name
Grouping: Season Number (eg. Season Five)
Genre: Soundtrack
Year: (usually already in there otherwise check what year the episode aired)
Track Number: count and fill in the total number (the second box)
Disc Number: 1 of 1
Artwork: save the corresponding art from Gleekweekly, double click and find the file
Now go to the 'Sorting' tab
Change the sort album to 'Episode number Episode title'
Hit 'OK'
Go to 'Albums', your episode should now be on the correct place in your collection
Now it's time to individually edit your songs. Select the first song in the album, right click, 'Get Info'
At this point I like to have a tab open with the Episode's glee.wikia.com page
For each song input the track number (just look at the Glee Wikia, the first song listed is the first song in the episode, ergo '1')
In the comments section I like to put who sang the song so look at the Glee Wikia to see who sang the song and put that in the comments section as 'Sung by Character Name'
After that's done for each song in the album, hit 'OK'
You're done!
Albums & EPs
Download your music ( I highly recommend this site )

Album: Album name
Grouping: Glee: The Music
Genre: Soundtrack
Year: 9999 (this will sort your albums after the episodes)
Track Number: count and fill in the total number (the second box)
Disc Number: 1 of 1
Artwork: save the corresponding art from Gleekweekly, double click and find the file
Now go to the 'Sorting' tab
Change the 'Sort Album' to
for Volumes: 90# (eg. 901 = Glee the Music Volume 1)
for Christmas albums: 95# (eg. 951 = Glee the Music the Christmas Album)
for full length compilation albums (think the movie soundtrack, Warblers album and Graduation album): 98# (eg. 981 = Glee the Music presents the Warblers)
for EPs: 990# (eg. 9901 = The Power of Madonna)
It's up to you if you want to add the album title after the number
Hit 'OK'
Go to 'Albums', your album should now be on the correct place in your collection

At this point I like to have a tab open with the Album's glee.wikia.com page
For each song input the track number (if it's not already in there)
In the comments section I like to put who sang the song so look at the Glee Wikia to see who sang the song and put that in the comments section as 'Sung by Character Name'

what's the difference between the two sets of downloads you posted for the Quarterback episode music???? just curious. Thanks for all that you do in uploading them each week!!!!!! :D
one is coded as an EP (the one with Cory), so an album and if you were to download other albums it's going to show up alongside those in iTunes. The other is coded as an episode, so if you were to download the other episodes it would show up next to those. There's no difference in the songs =D
