Thadues stood on the doorstep. He wasn’t nervous. Why would I be nervous? I don’t know why I’m shaking so much I’m not nervous at all! He was indeed shaking. His entire body trembled and he could hear his pulse pounding in his head. He hadn’t seen him for years. He didn’t even know he was alive. But Thadeus was sure that as soon as they saw each other again everything would be the way it should be. They could be a family again. He stretched his hand out and it trembled violently on it’s way to the doorbell. He tried to suppress his shaking before someone came out to greet him.
Hearing the doorbell rang, Glidden barely glanced up from his computer. "Someone's at the doorway!" he called out.
"Yup, sounds like it!" a voice -- either Michael or Rabbit, he thought-- called out from somewhere in the manor.
A beat of silence.
Sighing dramatically, Glidden stood up. "I'll get it."
He started the long trek to the open doorway at the front of the house, gently clanking along the long staircases of Walter Manor. Frowning gently at the slightly-familiar shape in the doorway, he called out, "He-hello? Who is it-it?"
Reaching the doorway, he stopped and stared up at the man before him.
"... Wh-what?"
