remember with me
Stucky oneshot
Steve and Bucky sat on the rooftop of their apartment building, gazing out at the city skyline. They had been friends since they were kids, and despite everything they had been through, they were still as close as ever.
"It's crazy how much everything has changed," Bucky said, taking a swig of his beer.
Steve nodded. "Yeah, I never thought we'd be living in a world with flying cars and virtual reality."
They both laughed, reminiscing about the simpler times they grew up in. They talked about their childhood adventures and the mischief they used to get into, but as they continued to talk, the conversation took on a more serious tone.
"Do you remember the war?" Bucky asked, his voice softening.
Steve's expression became more serious. "I'll never forget it."
They both fell silent for a moment, remembering the horrors they had witnessed during their time as soldiers. After a few moments, Bucky spoke up again.
"I'm sorry, Steve," he said, looking down at his hands. "For everything that happened after."
Steve turned to face him. "Bucky, you don't have to apologize. You weren't in control of your actions."
Bucky sighed. "I know, but that doesn't change what I did. And even after everything we've been through, I still feel guilty."
Steve reached out and took Bucky's hand, squeezing it gently. "Bucky, I forgave you a long time ago. You're my best friend, and nothing can ever change that."
Bucky looked up at Steve, his blue eyes shining with emotion. "I love you, Steve."
Steve's heart skipped a beat at the words. He had always known he had feelings for Bucky, but he had never dared to act on them. But now, as Bucky looked at him with such intensity, he knew that he couldn't hold back any longer.
"I love you too, Buck," Steve said, leaning in and pressing his lips to Bucky's.
It was a soft, gentle kiss at first, but as their lips moved together, the passion between them ignited. They pulled away, gasping for breath, and looked at each other with a newfound sense of love and affection.
As they sat there on the rooftop, holding each other close, they knew that they had found something special. They had always been there for each other, through thick and thin, and now they had finally found the love that they had been searching for all along.
