We take care of the pokemon that we liberate so they get healthy before releasing them. Once they see how good it is to be in the wild where they belong they don't ever WANT to go back to humans.

Ok, so you agree that pokemon need human help, then. That you need to help them when they are sick so that they can get better. Helping pokemon get better from their sicknesses and injuries is a very nice thing to do, and I've noticed that's what the other nice folks in the thread (is that the word?) have been saying too. Even if you think that pokemon overall shouldn't be owned, some pokemon need us a bunch! If you found a really sick pokemon, you would help it, right? That should be the same if a pokemon is permanently sick or injured, too.

Why do you jump to the conclusion that I'm evil? Can you give me an example of what you think I may have done that's so evil? Right now I don't really have the ability to do much good, but before all this happened I'd say I did a pretty good job. Spent a lot of time in the wild area helping pokemon that had gotten stuck or hurt, helped teach people how to care for pokemon properly, all that stuff.

Ok, I see why you may think that way. But what if you were a pokemon? You have a trubbish in your profile picture, so I'll guess you like trubbish. Imagine that you were a little trubbish, loving every new thing you see in the world. You like eating berries and wandering the cities, stealing dropped food from the food stands that line the market streets. But one day a zigzagoon comes along and attacks you. You were able to get away, yes, but it scratched at you so badly that you can't walk properly anymore. You wouldn't want to die, would you? You'd still have so much to see. That little trubbish could be picked up by a nice trainer, could be carried if they can't walk, maybe even given a special wheelchair if they want to be more independent. They could see all the food stands they used to steal scraps from, taste every snack and meal they wanted to, be loved and cherished and given a nice warm place to sleep, played with and given toys and all the pets they wanted. Surely a heaven on Earth is better than one you may not even get to see.

Also, I'm not in prison. I'm in a secure hospital, sport. A pokemon forcibly fused with me, and we went on a rampage. I'm not proud of it, but it happened. Eternatus thinks a lot like you do. Well, it did. I don't know what exactly it thinks nowadays. When we first fused, though, it was give it freedom or give it death. But that's just because it has been hurt by people before, I bet. Maybe you're the same, maybe someone hurt you in the past, kept you in a metaphorical cage and made you feel weak, so now you hate anything that can make you weak. It's ok to feel weak. If I learned one thing from all my years of being the 'strongest', it's that you can never be truly strong if you never let yourself feel weakness too.

But that's not what happens! It's NOT!!

That's what happened to my mam's purrloin. All that's changed is that for the trubbish it was a zigzagoon attacking them, for my mam's purrloin it was a nickit. But no matter what happens, people are inherently good. We're social, pack pokemon at heart. If someone is hurt we help them. That's why I'm trying to help you. Someone probably hurt you, just like that zigzagoon did to the trubbish in the story.

Princess actually only bites people if they stop petting her when she doesn't think she's had enough, haha. She's otherwise a very calm kitty! Her teeth are in perfect health, actually, she has a full check up every two months, and here's a clip of her little play hunting to prove she's still got that hunter gene (this is her favorite hunting toy cause I can put pokenip or treats in the inner cavity like stuffing, haha!)

Most pokemon only bite if naturally aggressive, when hunting or if really scared. Purrloin, despite the reputation of dark types, isn't a naturally aggressive pokemon. Maybe they were scared. Did you take them somewhere without asking them if they wanted to go there?

Well yeah cause all Pokemon are scared of people cause they don't want to get exploded! But i just give them food and medicines and stuff! And they keep being scared anyway!

That's unusual... maybe they recognise something about you as a threat? Try to change up your appearance and see if they're still scared. Wear your hair in a different way, try out a completely new clothing style, walk and talk in a different way. If they aren't scared anymore, it could just be a threat response towards a specific part of you or your demeanor that we can find out. When we've found that out, we can help those pokemon by helping them heal from whatever caused them to be so scared of that specific thing.

Appearance? You mean my uniform? We're not really supposed to change that...

Maybe they can tell i used to be evil. Smell it on me or something. The evil residue or whatever it's called.

Prolly because they don't like yous very much. If you took them from their trainer then I can see why, you'd 'ave basically kidnapped them.

I don't like not bein' given a choice on if I wanna stay with da Boss or not. The answer is yes, by the way. I adore da Boss. We all do, he treats us very well.

Doesn't mean there are some very bad apples (cough, Rose, cough), but I don't see why everyone has ta get punished fer their actions. Especially us pokémon. There's nuance here. Good and bad trainers, like good and bad apples. Many of us pokémon are more than capable of leavin' if we hate our trainers enough.

So yeah. We don't deserve to be punished for someone else's peace of mind. Let us make our own choices please.
