This was absolutely embarrassing and completely unprovoked. He wouldn’t have taken her as someone who would have enjoyed this type of humor. Given her usual attitude, it was hard to imagine that she was taunting him right now. His heart seemed to sink into his stomach upon hearing the news, words caught in his throat as he tried to think of a way to respond in apology before she revealed her jest. A small groan and squint of his eyes that he was almost a bit disappointed that she couldn’t see. “Next time I’ll make it roses, purely for the sake of the thorns.” He huffed, shifting a bit in position. “Shouldn’t you be asleep?”

Continued from X @kxrieiti The giggle only seems to make him roll his eyes, though his expression clearly read embarrassment, thankful that she wasn’t able to see it. A clear of his throat would be his attempt of shaking the feeling but to no avail. “N-No! No the nickname is ... fine. Just not something that I’m quite used to...” He admittedly, softly. A defeated sigh escaped him as he pinched the bridge of his nose, eyes closing for just a moment. “...Were the flowers to your liking, at least?” Call him ignorant but he hadn’t exactly made it easy on himself in knowing her interests, therefore the generic gift was a last ditch effort in making it presentable.

"Neinei" She mumbled at the speaker on her phone, smiling gently. Sleep was very noticeable on her voice- it had after all been quite a long day of excitement from her birthday. "I know the flowers were you". She gave a little snicker at the nickname, not really paying it much attention through the haze of how tired she currently felt.

Laying down in his bed, he held the phone up to his ear to hear a soft, gentle voice crackle to life on the other end. The nickname abruptly hitting him before all else, a bright red rushing to face as he tried not to pay it any mind. “What gave you that impression?” He mumbled, running a hand through his bangs. “And what’s with the nickname? I don’t recall you ever using that before.” Was it really that obvious?

Question: Do you have a specific reason for the FC of Link for your OOC posts? I'm just asking because I love the franchise so I was just curious uvu,,

I’m just a big fan of the series and Link has always been dear to me, so it just felt very fitting. I’ve played so many of the games at this point and have so much merch that I’m practically swimming in it. LoZ is my absolute favorite gaming series and I’m not sure that it’ll ever change. Not to mention, look at that face.))
