            “Anyway man, what have you been up to?”

Davesprite flinched slightly from the arm around his shoulders but quickly relaxed. It was a force of habit that he couldn’t control really. 

“I’ve been alright. kinda bored cause every universe I try t’ go to doesn’t have any a’ my friends in it. But all in all, I haven’t been attacked so I’m happy. What about you? besides the rare occurrence ya saw I mean.”

“Yeah. Y’know Navi from the legend of Zelda? I basically got her role. except I don’t shout ‘HEY LISTEN’ every damn second of my strange existence.” 

That was honestly the best way he could explain it. Well, actually...he could explain the entirety of sburb, but they would both be here all day if he did.

           She smiled, in all honesty she felt a lot better knowing there were more people like him. Humans weren’t all that nice. Maybe she should just give it up, they were just glasses after all. It’s not like she could open up the doors of hell with them.

           She grabbed the bag and dragged it along with her. She wasn’t one to give up, but it’d suck to go through all the trouble for a tiny little thing.

He floated over to the tear, leading her towards it so they could both leave. Once she asked what the place was like he looked back at her. 

“It’s a pretty chill place. like I said only two real people, John and Jade. Then we got three sprites, yours truly included. and finally a ton of weird little creatures running around the ship. So, yeah. we don’t have a very organized home.” 

With that he smirked and flew through the rip in reality. 

“C’mon, I’ll show ya.”

“Oh, I see.” The troll’s cheeks flushed, feeling sort of stupid from not remembering stuff like that. “Yeah, I remember that fact now that you mentioned it. I have to admit it was pretty corny.”
