SORRY this ask was from ages ago and I just answered it now!!! I wanted to make sure I made the most comprehensive list of all of them LOL
Iāll probably have to make more headcanon posts bc I have. A million more that I forgot abt. ANYWAYS!!! HERE YA GOO :DDDD!!!!
Headcanons that are just Amary Projecting onto Miko (and Five):
-Miko is aroace <3 bc Iām on the aroacespec and bc I said so <333
-I actually love that we never get any moments in the show of her canonically crushing or being romantically interested in anyone :D itās really refreshing and I just love the idea of aroace Miko
-I could def see her being confused about romance and crushes and why people made if such a big deal growing up, esp bc her video games were WAY more interesting than any of that stuff
-Miko canāt take coffee and needs a can of Gamer Fuel to wake up her up in the morning
-Sheās tried various types of ADHD meds but nothing has really helped her with focusing and her executive dysfunction issues
-she can understand Japanese but canāt speak or write it, usually shows up a lot as her mom talking to her in Japanese and her responding back in English
-She loves sodas and fizzy drinks!!! Sour and sweet fruit sodas or energy drinks are her go to! Five chides her for not drinking enough water but she defends herself by stating how much sodas/energy drinks she drank that day lmao
-Miko LOVES the sonic games. Itās perfect for her ADHD.
-Miko has NO impulse control when it comes to Gacha games. Itās so joever for her. She WILL call Five at 3am, BEGGING to borrow his credit card info so she can pull on a character banner and promising to pay him back
-thankfully, Five is her impulse control LMAO and he has figured out ways to lock her credit card (and his) so she wonāt make decisions sheāll regret later (dw, she asked him to do this after spending $200 on a character)
-on this note, I feel like when it comes to saving up for characters they want to get for Gacha games, Five is the āplanned for a year with 5 spreadsheets and a timelineā kinda guy and Miko just. Pulls for whoever looks cool and sometimes gets lucky (Iām a mix of both of them lol)
-Five is very mom friend coded to me. He WILL be asking the team if theyāve eaten enough or if they need backup or other stuff. He likes helping!!! He likes being helpful!!!! Itās how she shows that he cares <3
-Five has anxiety. Bc like. Have you SEEN this guy. Look at him. We been knew.
QPR mikofive headcanons bc they make me violently ill:
-I LOVE THEM SM!!!!!! To quote my friend Lux, they are the āmost romantic friendshipā I have ever SEEN.
-I love the idea of them just slowly falling into a QPR over time and never realizing it
-Miko and Five just go from co-workers to best friends to roommates to getting legally married (for tax benefits) and none of them blink an eye at it until people ask them about it bc. Theyāre just so comfortable together!
-They canāt imagine who else they would put as their emergency contact in case they ever got into some kind of accident. They canāt imagine who else theyād bring as a plus one to a fancy event. Theyāre always the first in each othersā minds and they never needed to question that š„ŗš„ŗš„ŗ
-Five giving Miko forehead kisses is canon bc I said so. GET CHERISHED IDIOT!!!!!!
-I like the idea of Miko being very aggressive and enthusiastic with her affection (ex: her crushing Fiveās ribs everytime they hug) but Five being more soft and intentional with the way he expresses affection
-which just makes Miko MELT bc sheās never been treated so gently and delicately before. Like she truly, deeply mattered.
-anyways, she doesnāt know how to handle being treated so softly and just blue screens. Or starts crying. And sheās just. Furiously trying to wipe away her happy tears as she reassures Five that sheās fine and just really emotional
-Zahra later joins the QPR too (Zahra and Miko is platonic while Zahra and Five are romantic) and theyāre all really sweet and comfortable around each other qwq
-at Zahra and Fiveās wedding Miko is in the front row screaming āTHOSE ARE MY PARTNERS!!!!!!!!!!!ā When they kiss š„ŗš„ŗš„ŗš„ŗ
-Zahra and Five later have a child together and all three of them raise her ^^ (Miko smuggles her treats and candy when Five and Zahra arenāt looking LOL)
-Also, I headcanon that Zahra is the most grounded and emotionally stable of the two. Sheās their anchor when things get to their head <333
-Miko is 1000000000000% a glitch. Canāt say more bc spoilers for my au Iām writing but YEAH. GIRL IS HAVING EXISTENTIAL CRISES WOOOO!!!!!!
-Miko is HORRIFICALLY bad at cooking. Like. DO NOT LET HER NEAR ANYTHING SIMILAR TO FIRE. THINGS WILL EXPLODE.
-thankfully, Five is the exact opposite so she wonāt be starving in the future <3
-Miko LOVES stealing hair products from Nica <3
-Miko was bullied by Aileen in the years after her birthday party for ruining her party and that (+ the fact that she was struggling so much in school) was why her mom eventually pulled her out of school and is homeschooling her (this is also why Nica explained what high school was like to Miko)
-When it comes to empathy, Miko is surprisingly good at slowing down and really being there for the people she cares abt when they need it (ex: Lexi, Nica, Five, Mike simms)
-I personally think itās a core part of her as a character but it just doesnāt really come out until she knows someone else needs it
-that scene in Ping where she worriedly looks at Five after he mentions not wanting to go to the shop HAUNTS ME BRO. Her gaze is SO SOFT AND WORRIED. Her voice is so quiet!!! She just wants to be there for him!!!!!!! Iām not okay yall.
-Despite being a cat person, Miko is emotionally closer to her dog, Cloud <3 (we see a few scenes with them together in the leaked storyboards and theyāre SO CUTE!!!!)
-Miko doesnāt sleep till 2-3am. Someone sedate her.
-We see this in the show but Mikoās actually very good at tech repair and engineering!! Five is probably better at visualizing and designing while Miko is the one who is more hands on and building all the stuff
-omg. I love the idea Miko being the big spoon despite. Her size. LMAO. Five deserves to be cuddled and cherished <333 sheāll find a way <3333
-Miko has experienced glitches in her games before as a kid and has told them to others as a almost ghost story kinda way
-NO ONE believed her but over time she remembers and retells them to Five and their minds are BLOWN
-bc even if they were fixed, she couldnāt be wiped and wouldāve remembered
-five is kinda sad he canāt remember if that happened to him as a kid but it probably did
-Five fidgets with his hands when nervous!! We only see it in ep 2 when heās anxious about Miko breaking the training sim but I LOVE that detail sm and itās canon to me now <3
-FIVE ALWAYS BRINGS AN EXTRA LUNCH FOR MIKO!!! She has a nasty habit of forgetting them and bc of this, he always makes sure to bring extra for her <3 š„ŗ I personally love this one a lot!!
-Fiveās dad got imprisoned when Five was either 5 or 6 years old and so heās been imprisoned for about 10 years by the time the show starts :(
-also, on that note, I headcanon that bc of his imprisonment his wife divorced him and left Five to the care of his grandparents :(
-SORRY FIVE ITS JUST MORE INTERESTING TO ME!!! I could see the show implying that she died when Five was very young but I think it would be more interesting to explore a messy family dynamic where Fiveās mom remarried and is out of his life but still cares for him deeply
-imo they have a very polite but very stilted and distant relationship
-Casino is Fiveās longest and closest friend
-also on that note, I also think that Five doesnāt really have much other close friends
-heās probably similar to Miko in that sense, an outcast in his school but not really minding it bc heās too busy studying coding or playing video games
-they both know and generally get along with people but they hadnāt really had a relationship where they really KNEW who the other was until they met each other
-they get each other so deeply on another level!!!!
-I also think he gets along better with people younger than him! Itās just easier to fit into that big brother/mentor role than trying to figure out how to socially interact with people his age (social anxiety go brrrr)
-he also gets along well with people older than him too!! Heās very eloquent and knowledgeable for his age and I can see him appreciating his teachers for listening to him yap about the intricacies of Unicorp for the 53rd time (sources: heās just like me fr and I was exactly like this LOL)
-Ridleyās dragon kitty is named Fang :3 as a way to match with Horn!!!
-Ridley is nonbinary bc. Like. Have you seen them. Also bc of that one quote from Mitch in the Bolypius storyboards
-Mitch is the oldest glitch tech in the division but Zahra came right after him so theyāre at similar high ranks
-I also love the idea of her being one of the few that can really tell him off and put him in his place when heās getting out of hand, esp bc he respects her
-Zahra is commonly portrayed as a healer support in most fanworks but I actually love the idea of her being more focused on debuff support and doing healing on the side!
-also in a similar vein, I feel like Bergy would fit the healer role nicely :) Zahra teaching Bergy how to heal but also helping him become more confident in himself would be amazing!!! it would be fun to see them interact!!
-I feel like Mitch had similar issues with Miko in fitting in and trying to get others to see and recognize him and his solution to that was to brute force his way into being known and gaining external validation to support his own crippling low self esteem
-It would be SUCH a good foil to Miko but also a good reason why he turned to gaming: a way to make friends and bond with others that eventually turned into him getting to the top so that he would never have to be at the bottom like before again
-itās also why Miko makes him so on edge sometimes, he sees this version of what he couldāve been if he had let himself be weird and different and vulnerable
-and the fact that she can exist like that and stay true to herself is just very personally triggering for him
-sheās like him as a kid and it gets to him!!! Heās got so many issues!!!! British tsundere ever
