I hate how society has changed
(For the record I am not saying I am exempt from this, cause I'm not) I'm sitting here on the train and I look around and everybody, literally everybody is on their phones. I'm doing the same and it just make me sad how society and technology have changed our lives. Granted in a lot of ways they have been improved, but in a lot of other ways we are missing out on huge parts of life by being so absorbed in our technology. I wish I was born in the age before smartphones so that I could learn to appreciate the world for what it really is. I'm blinded by technology, if a second goes by hat I have nothing to do, I'm on my phone googling something, or playing a game. The worst part is it's too late to do anything about it. As much as I'd like to I could never get rid of my smartphone. If I leave it in another room I get anxious nevermind getting rid of it all together. Cell phones in general are not bad, they save lives, they connect us to friends and family, and emergency services if necessary. Smartphones are an example of society's abuse of technology. There is no necessity for me to have a computer in my pocket, but at this point I couldn't go without it. Maybe I'm a hypocrite, in fact I definitely am, but I am aware of what is happening and I only see it getting worse in the future.
