          at alec’s words, magnus pouted, despite the fact that the only source of light in the room came from the moon through the curtains and it was definitely plausible that alec couldn’t even see him right now. the warlock had been trying to sleep for the past half hour ( even though he’d already been laying down and buried in his plethora of blankets and sheets for well over that amount of time ), but clearly, he wasn’t trying hard enough — and it might have been with the fact that he wasn’t TIRED in the slightest. he couldn’t help it, though ; his sleeping schedule had completely flipped over the past week due to work related business, but alec was the one to suffer for it, it seemed.❝ it’s not my fault, ❞ he said in defense, scooting closer to alec just slightly so that his arms could wrap around his waist. ❝ but i’m sorry. i’ll try to sleep. and stop wiggling —, ❞ he made a point to lay still, the only movement coming from him being the rise and fall of his chest. he smiled, then, ❝ — or you could kick me to the couch. chairman’ll take my place. he can sleep through the night like a log. ❞

hello hello ! i’m still here and alive and well ! i know i said i’d come back from my hiatus a tad bit sooner --- i’ve been pretty busy and those extra days were much needed on my part --- but i’m back now ! although, instead of coming back entirely, i’m going to need to switch to a semi hiatus because of school priorities and other hobbies that have been taking over my life as of lately. i’ll still be on regularly, but with a semi hiatus active, it’ll kinda help me get back into the swing of writing all while letting me take a few days off here and there should i need it for any reason. 

on that note, since it has been over a week since i’ve been on properly, i’m going to be dropping most threads ( with the exception of longer / plotted threads ). if you would still like me to respond to our thread, though, please like this or send me a little message ! i can definitely dig up any threads and respond to them, no problem. it’s just that starting off with a general clean slate in terms of drafts and replies will help me adjust back into writing mode rather than having several neglected threads hanging over my head, you know ? thank you all for your patience and i’ll be sure to post a starter call very, very soon !

mini hiatus notice: october 7th - october 14th!

lately, i feel as though my anxiety when it comes to writing and roleplaying has kicked up and it hasn’t necessarily put me in a positive environment whatsoever. not to mention, i need to sort myself out in terms of organization with this blog / my priorities. so, in order to focus on myself without the worries of letting people down, i’ll be going on a little hiatus ! it’ll start today, of course, and end exactly a week from now on the 14th ( this is also active on both magnus and raphael ). i’ll most likely be dropping threads in my drafts when i return unless i have the proper muse to write them and i also may or may not pop on once or twice for messages and the occasional starter, reply or meme. i’m hoping after the 14th i’ll be in a much, much better place and especially with the new content coming to us this weekend at nycc, hopefully i’ll be in a position to write properly again. if anyone wants my k!k, a!m, or personal blog - don’t hesitate to ask ! i’ll definitely be over there this week if you’d like to plot for when i come back :-)

If this is how I’m gonna go, I’d like to at least admit I was wrong and–attempt an apology.” She felt herself start to heal, slightly, yet her fear was what caused her to even remain over the edge. “I’m sorry for what I did t you, even after all this time, I worried about you–I actually..love you, Magnus. That’s why I–did what I did. You..know my stance on emotions and love..they’re..mundane. I can never get that life back..so..why act like one?” She thought for a moment, fingertips twitching slightly. “..Not just one, that I remember..I..think there was a group. Again, I..kinda blanked out for most of the fight.”

          magnus’ expression instantly softened, all of his prior defenses completely slipping from his grasp in a long moment of VULNERABILITY. camille’s words didn’t help him feel more confident in the fact that she would be okay --- if anything, his confidence was draining by the second and he was legitimately thinking that he wouldn’t be able to do this. ❝ camille .... you’re going to be okay, ❞ he spoke quietly, in a whisper so low that it was hard to distinguish whether he was saying it for her or for himself. both of his hands remained hovering over the wound, his energy slowly but surely running dry at how much magic he was exerting at once. ❝ stop SCARING me. ❞ perhaps it was difficult to admit that hearing her attempt at an apology was like a century’s weight lifting from his shoulders and that was why he couldn’t just accept this. perhaps it was because it was difficult to hear in general. either way, he shook his head ; if she hadn’t known him better, lingering feelings could have been mistaken in his gaze. ❝ when you’re healed you’re going to regret saying all of this. ❞

                 Once they found themselves in what seemed to be a well stocked room – one full of books and dust upon more dust. A wave of his hand could surround himself if thrown around fast enough. It reminded him of home, always did find it hard to keep up with the necessary cleaning routines needed to manage his historic collection. It was only when he heard his future self trail off with his words did his eyes look over to him. Attention obviously caught as he eyed him with trepidation.

                  There was an instant grimace when his ‘ heart ’ was mentioned. The notion of him even still having one, to forever burden him, after all these years, was amusing beyond belief. “Thats funny, thought I had misplaced that ol’ thing.” He turned then, not wishing to look upon his happier self. Almost close to cursing him to even think of teasing him of such an impossible thing. “ … Or rather, it was ripped from my chest to then crumble to the floor without a trace.”

          magnus still remembered very vividly of what HEARTBREAK felt like, the love of camille having never been one that he could wipe free from his memory. he still remembered just as vividly how long it took for him to open himself up again, as well ; it was no wonder that one hundred years ago, he was cautious like this. except he wasn’t sad for his younger self, not necessarily. he had the knowledge that things would get much, much better in a century’s time and he knew that this version of himself had plenty of healing left to do yet. there was no reason to feel sad in that regard --- perhaps he should have, but he was living proof that everything would be alright eventually.

          ❝ i’d say replaced is a more accurate term. it’s still there ---, ❞ magnus tapped against his chest with his fingertips, over the area where his heart beat, before they began to run over the ancient text displayed in the pages of the spell book. ❝ --- just not as BROKEN anymore. ❞ he spoke more casually now, as if this was a conversation with an old friend rather than an old self. ❝ i know that’s hard to believe, but trust me. give it some time. ❞
