anyways this is hibiscus she was a smooth lineless warm up a while ago and i was like, what if i made a splat character based off an emoji 

So shes based off the Hibiscus emoji and thats why shes named it instead of a food. I like to think shes an Idol. She’s the mom friend of the group, a semi-strict mom but a loving mom non the less type. She may have resting b face but she smiles when shes talking with her friends and interacting with others. She’s a very composed lady

I recently Discovered Splatoon 2 Octo Expansion does have an art book! It doubles as a “Fashion Magazine” The book also features the recent splatfest artwork, level concepts and octo expansion and comic storyboards for the story modes!

OMG I’VE BEEN WAITING FOREVER FOR THIS TO BE CONFIRMED

I always had a hc that octolings develop from octarians but I didn’t know if that was ever confirmed or not but there it is!! I was afraid to continue writting bc I didn’t know it it lines up with the Splatoon canon.

However that being said that means,,, the octarian army is made entirely of babs,, oh no ;;
