"Diary of a Worm" by an AGC student for a handmade book fair organized by a fellow 2nd grader.

Students at AGC learn about the lifecycle, habits and diets of these crawly critters during "worm week" each fall. After they have demonstrated mastery of the topic, each classroom is presented with their own vermi-compost bin. 

Caring for vermi-compost bins is just one of many classroom jobs that begin ias early as Kindergarten including Yoga Leader, Recycling Manager and Energy Auditor.
