Good morning. May your day be creative and gentle.
Intuitive Reading for June 20, 2026:
What you think is business as usual can lead to unexpected complications.
Halfway through "Drake Hall" by Christina Baehr, I decided to not finish this book. While it is good, for me it's not as engaging as its predecessor "Wormwood Abbey."
It started to be repetitive about how and why Edith was dodging Simon - her third or fourth or later cousin.
In "Drake Hall" you'll learn about the different types and sizes of dragons along with their behaviors.
I finished reading "Wormwood Abbey" by Christina Baehr.
It's about a Victorian clergyman's daughter, Edith Worms has seen everything - until a mythical salamander tumbles out of the fireplace into her lap. Was this really a salamander or something larger? The abbey had some interesting secrets that Edith would eventually find out about. This is a good fantasy novel which I found to be delightful. It's the first in a series. I do recommend reading this book if you're into something fun, mysterious, and light.
Good Wednesday morning.
Anyone have any strange dreams last night?
Anyone feel like they traveled somewhere?
A lot of metaphysical activity happened last night and may still be lingering.
Mornings are too hot and oppressive to walk outside. I've taken to walking inside instead. Not everyone can tolerate the heat.
I started reading "Yours Truly" by Abby Jimenez. I have enjoyed her other books but can't say that for this one.
"Yours Truly" is a contemporary romance but after listening to 2 hours of the audiobook, I had to return it. Dr. Jacob Maddox has social anxiety. Reading about all the different ways his anxiety kicks up and in different situations became draining for me.
Dr. Briana Ortiz has a younger brother who is in kidney failure needing dialysis. She is going through a divorce and upset about not being named for a promotion plus the family dynamic of her brother - left my head spinning.
I don't recommend this book.
Intuitive Reading for June 12:
Be careful of fake people who lie. They might be making an appearance in your life. Watch for their fake smile and rigid face.
I finished reading Book 2 of the Wayward Pines Trilogy. "Wayward" is more compelling than Book 1 and have to wait 5 weeks to listen to Book 3!
"Wayward" is fast paced and kept me on the edge of my seat. Blake Crouch did a fantastic job of keeping this psychological thriller pretty intense.
I highly recommend this book!

Life is building. A strong foundation is essential. Are the things (blocks) you have built upon solid enough to stand the test of time?
If not, rebuild stronger.
Intuitive Reading for June 8:
This can be a very volatile time for family dynamics. Arguments can rise easily.
Make sure you don't answer in a spiteful manner because you're tired of trying to reason with people.

Healing can be gentle. It doesn't have to be difficult. Create a safe, gentle space for yourself. Let things unfold. Embrace unconventional healing avenues for further healing. Your feelings don't need to line up with someone else's.
