Can I just skip to the part where my books are popular and adapted in tv shows and movies?

What if a part of me is always waiting for you?

" I don't want to forget her, but damn, it hurts so much to remember."
-Excerpt from a book I'll never write
Even when youāre slipping away, you still feel more real than anything Iāve ever touched.
from an unfinished story #958 (via thoughts-into-ink)
Just Write It
Write a double layered story. The most obvious example of this is when the narrator is a writer, so part of the book is the story the narrator is writing and the other part is what is actually occurring in the narratorās life.

DISĀ·ILĀ·LUĀ·SIONĀ·MENT
her devout optimism was only good while it lasted. she was passionately nostalgic and saw the past through crystal glass; the present could never reach such high standards.
she would throw extravagant parties for a party of three. the rest would never show. she would gaze at a billboard that read, āBEST PLACE ON EARTH,ā only to go and find it merely average. [average was not enough. even good was a let-down.] she learned the hard way that falling in love is not made of sparks and spells, not even if he loves you back.
she would put band-aids on her bruised shoulder, then sheād let herself bruise her knee. she held onto her optimism like it was all she had ever believed. she lived fantastic lives in her head, where she got everything she thought she wanted: kisses with sparks, parties with boisterous laughter, travelling to beaches where all her worries would wash away.
but she never got a chance to see the magic right in front of her: the magic of ups and downs, and how heartbreak could turn into healing, and how messes could turn into something to laugh about. ___________________________ Requested by @internetsickness

Work hard, but be patient, and most importantly, make sure that you love the story youāre telling.
