On March 9, 2020, Gov. J.B. Pritzker declared a state of emergency for Illinois and on March 21, 2020 ordered a “shelter in place” directive. This directive closes all non-essential businesses and asks that the individuals quarantine themselves. Chicago Medical Research Institute, Inc., as a medical research facility, is considered an essential business and is able to remain open with limitation. Our priority is to our patients, staff, sponsors, and volunteers.
