hello! as you’ve all noticed, i’ve suddenly gone on a sudden hiatus.

during my absence, my interest in tumblr RP slowly dissipated, and then suddenly, i just don’t feel motivated enough to be here. i don’t feel as passionate or excited as i used to be when i get new threads and receive replies. i’ve found another RP platform, and i’ve grown to love it there. i’m grateful for all the ships and all the friends i’ve gained here, but i feel that this isn’t for me anymore.

i’ll be dropping everything. as in EVERYTHING, all the threads in this blog and my other blogs. it saddens me to do this, but this is what i really want and need to do right now.

i won’t be deactivating any of my blogs. i’ll let all of  it stay as an archive. because who knows? maybe i’ll come back again here someday. but for now, i’ll be moving to greener pastures.

to anyone who still wants to keep in touch with me, you can HMU in the IMs and send me your discord ids. that way, i’ll be able to add you.

thank you all for your understanding! i’ll be around here in the IMs for a week, so you can all send me your discord accounts, if ever you’re interested in keeping our communication.

only dante could be so lucky as to find himself stranded in the ocean, adrift and alone, only to wash up on the private island of a gorgeous blonde. what kind of dumb luck does this nephilim have? “ cyprus. makes sense from where i dropped in at. “ dante stirs for a moment over her question and then after a bit, he slowly rises to his feet, groaning a bit because he hasn’t used his muscles in a while. he’s been holding back on using his healing powers, because using them burns his energy up and if he’s not eating or hunting then he has to make that energy last. “ i’ve definitely felt better. that’s for damn sure. i could use an extra large double pepperoni pizza and a six pack right about now. i’m dante. i didn’t catch your name. “

✧ ༺ ♛ ༻ ∞ APHRODITE IS USED TO encountering mortals. throughout the millennia, she’s had a lot of mortal lovers. however, she’s a bit fazed by this man, who has piqued her interest. he seems injured, but he doesn’t seem bothered by the fact that he’s been washed up ashore. he’s definitely not a typical mortal; he’s something else. she can’t really tell or signify, though. as he rises up steadily, her brow arches, amusement replacing her confusion. ❝ohhh---you’re not hurt?❞ when he tells her his name, she beams at him, a smile tugging at the corners of her lips. his name sounds like that of a charmer, and with the way he stands, she can definitely see his charisma now----and it sort of renders her weak. ❝i’m aphrodite---and i guess a pizza doesn’t sound bad.❞

fighting demons was not out of the ordinary thing for dante. in fact, it’s more the norm than anything else. but fighting a water demon was certainly something he was not adequately prepared for and when he was knocked out of limbo and stranded in the ocean, it didn’t leave him with many options. days had gone by, helplessly afloat at sea with no way to find his way back to land, even a portal to limbo providing him with no reprieve. hope was just about lost as his near lifeless body washed up ashore upon this beach. the nephilim was passed out, nowhere near consciousness, until her voice rings out through the darkness and his head rises, coughing up water that had been swallowed into his lungs. there is shock on his face, and he is startled, confused and utterly lost. “ what the—where am i? “

✧ ༺ ♛ ༻ ∞ ONCE THE MALE REGAINS consciousness, aphrodite stares at him, with curiosity in her eyes. it dawns on him that, as human as he seems, he is something else. he’s definitely not a typical mortal. she can see the surprise and confusion in his face, obviously at a loss with everything. ❝you’re in my island---❞ she says softly, scrutinizing his visage, and looking him in the eye, ❝---in cyprus.❞ it’s not exactly the location, but it’s the nearest, and most humanly answer possible. the goddess is slightly uncertain as to what to do next. she’s not used to tending to people, especially the injured, what with her status --- she’s always the one being served. ❝how are you feeling?❞ she asks, extending her hand. ❝can you stand up?❞
