"Are you sure you arenât hot," he asked with a wink at her, looking a bit excited and bouncing slightly in his chair. He had missed talking to her, just talking to her. He loved her, and that was all that mattered. As long as she was in his life, he didnât have to worry. He smiled slight. âA big hug is exactly what I need," he said softly, ruffling his hair again. He noted her nervous sleeve tugging and raised an eyebrow. âWhat⊠like, itâs good news, right," he asked, a bit nervous. He didnât know if he could handle losing her without going off the deep end.
She rolled her eyes sarcastically, laughing quietly. "Okay, maybe a little hot," The younger agreed. It was safe to say that she was never as happy on the weeks she couldn't speak with her long term boyfriend. "Yeah, yeah, it's really good news. I mean, I think it's good news," Tay started, choosing her words carefully. She picked at the hem of her shirt, looking down at her lap.
