// Scoreboard: I did 2 replies and sent 17 sentence starters to people whoĀ ālikedā myĀ āreturning to RPā post.
If I sent you one and you donāt feel like answering it, donāt like it, or donāt know what to do with it, youāre free & clear to delete it, I donāt mind!
Reblog if youāre open to improvisationalĀ rp and justĀ āwinging itā with threads
Whether itās the first interactions between the muses so the chemistry is still up in the air and itās still unknown as to whether or not theyāll click before potential plotting, or the muses have too much minds of their own and run wild the moment you set them loose in a thread, plotting is hard and occasionally your pre-planned threads jump the track and go in totally different directions than anticipated thanks to the musesā creative differences. Reblog this to let your rp partners know that you donāt mind simply jumping straight into in-character interactions and threads.

The afternoon was supposed a pleasant one, loved ones gathering in the graveyards to honor the fallen. Families went to their plots, cleaning off the stones of those departed and decorating them in honor. Children ran around happily, eating candy. Mothers and Fathers laid out picnics for those still alive and offerings of favorite dishes for those who had moved on.Ā
Catrina sat at the edge of the cemetery, her own plot already attended to for the day. Omnics had been sighted the night before, putting the city of Dorado on edge. They were in the middle of a Crisis, but tradition trumps danger.Ā
The sawed off shotgun that had rested easy at her side before, now snapped to attention into a young manās face. A stranger among friends, an unknown face in uncertain times entering their sacred land. Her voice was muffled by a mask, painted eyes unblinking, but he could still hear her as she spoke.
āWho are you?ā
āMe?ā Morrison grunted. Despite the nonchalant question, his eyes zeroed in on the shotgun, brows drawn together. He wasnāt afraid of firearms, but he respected them. Civilians with firearms were nothing to shrug off. āIām nobody. Just a soldier.ā
It said a lot that the stranger hadnāt fired, or even threatened, so he inched closer and nodded at the cemetery lawn. The mask yielded nothing, the voice was buffered likewise and that gave him no cues to read. Morrison tried anyway.Ā
āYou here for someone?ā Hmm. That sounded insensitive, so the soldier took another shot at it.Ā āSorry if Iām intruding.ā He nodded at the shotgun.Ā āWe had some reports of omnic activity in the area. Have you seen anything?ā

āNext?ā he repeats, eyes purposely not on her but watching her all the same. In the periphery of his vision, the soldier notes her arms moving but takes no action. Somehow, heās worth more to her alive than deadā¦for now, anyway.
āI guess if Iām testing dangerous limits and Iām relentless, next is getting injured or killed.ā Beneath the clothes and mask, his body is a tangled nest of scars. Itās safe to say being injured or killed is nothing new. āBut before we start that party, Iāve gotta ask why youāre here.ā
The soldier is here to take a name of his own little list, but he has a sneaking suspicion that maybe Widowmaker is here for the same thing. This guy is a high-profile UN delegate ā he can afford the best security. Canāt send just any run-of-the-mill thug to take him out, this needs the hand of a professional.
āOh, you know. A girlās gotta do what a girlās gotta do, non?ā
She seems nonchalant about it enough, without intent to harm the other, though the opportunity should not be completely discounted all together. Widowmaker would put him down - or at least try- if he was to interfere with her mission tonight.
āWe seem to share more than just a common interest tonight, monsieur. How exactly were you going to get your mark, hmm? Walk in there guns blazing? Clearly this was not going to work out for you.ā
Widowmaker activates her visor, scouts the building while mentally taking note of everyone there.Ā
āYou are so fucked. Do you even have any intel on what shitstorm you were about to walk into ?ā
He stares at her a moment, eyes hidden behind the red strip of tactical visor. Morrison is silent longer than he intends, then realizes this is Widowmaker. his stony reticence wonāt affect her. She couldnāt care less what he does -- ignore her or ask her to dance.
āIāve lived this long and I donāt have any cybernetic parts,ā he finally says.Ā āYou tell me if Iām going in guns blazing or doing my homework first.ā His reply isnāt quiteĀ āhow stupid do you think I am?ā (although he really wants to say it), but it suggests the same thing.
āAll I want to know is whoās your mark tonight. If itās the guy Iām after, Iāll ask you to wait a little longer. I have some questions I need to ask him,ā one of the soldierās big hands closes into a fist,Ā ābut after that, heās all yours. Deal?ā
The unfortunate part is that she wonāt care, Jack thinks. Hell, she might kill the guy faster just because Morrison is asking her to wait. Or she might demand some kind of payment or trade for sparing the man a little longer than necessary. If theyāre after the same person, that is.
Let him be happy!!

It's okay, dude! Take your time. Real world comes first. <3
// How are you so good, my bestie? Thank you. ā„ā„ā„
// Work really wants me to never write Jack again and I donāt know why.
The task load is barely manageable right now with hyperfocus and overtime, so I wonāt be able to RP just yet. Sorry, I jumped the gun. ā„
Will continue trying to return, as soon as itās feasible. Iām dyinā to write this guy more. Youād think Iād give up after three years, but Iām too optimistically foolish for that!Ā xD
// Perhaps unsurprisingly, Iāve had nothing but meetings that take up all my time, so I have to scramble to work after. Iād REALLY like to get back to RPing here, but I donāt know how or when, guys.Ā
Will try to come back in the afternoon, sorry!
When the bluebirdās wings spread for flight, TheĀ rain of justiceĀ will come into sight.

RULESĀ | THREADS
// NOTE: Iām tryingĀ to re-establish the blog, but fair warning: I will go slowly, keep activity light, and restrict my dash time so I donāt jeopardize my job.
Iām trying to balance this with work, but can only post during work hours. That means there may be a couple of days at a time where Iām not on the blog at all.
Rules
Donāt be an asshole. Respect my opinion and go argue somewhere else. Iāve played Jack as demisexual for just over three years now. I will NOTĀ be changing that.Ā
Iām not your father. Donāt expect me to moderate my content for you. Iāll do my best to tag the biggies, but Iām forgetful.
For shipping, I am exclusive to certain partners. So if youāre a canon blog looking to ship, you may want to ask first. I write non-shippy stuff a lot, so it may not matter.
Said partners are not exclusive with my Soldier/Morrison.
OCs are very welcome. I love OCs, and since youāre all one-of-a-kind, thereās no worry of duplicates! Again, I prefer my partners not to write with a bunch of other Soldier blogs.
I love my A/Us. You may unexpectedly get Venom 76, Immortal 76, or other A/U Jacks.
Iām really, REALLY slow. Please, please, please, do not push or prod me for threads or replies. It makes me a nervous wreck and Iāve got enough irl nerves.
Please try not to take it personally if I decline to write with you. I love writing with everyone, actually, but my job and home life demand a ton of my time.
Technically, Iām multiship and open to polyships, but not gonna lie: I tend to be shy and timid around shipping, so it can be a slow burn. Really slow.Ā
I prefer pre-established relationships and if given the chance, I will default to our characters already knowing each other, even if your character is an OC.
