TALON had it’s eyes on the last of Egypt’s super soldiers. This one seemed to have been involved in Omnic War. But hidden files showed that he shouldn’t be alive. Many of the JACKAL units had been purged afterwards. Rounded up and decommissioned. Merely a fancy word for killing off the remaining squadrons that survived the war. However, they never found the last ANUBIS. He had gone AWOL when realizing that his superiors deemed him too dangerous to live.
Someone had gotten their hands on his files. After scavenging through the ruined facility. His dog tags had been missing among the ones stored in the metal file cabinets. They must have known ANUBIS had survived, and sent the information to TALON. Of course they would send only their best on this mission to find and apprehend ANUBIS.
