I thibk femme kazuma is nice because I think she’s a more “traditional” type of person, when kazuma is male, he heavily leans onto his masculine side in many ways, it’s something that really stuck out to me seeing the series for the first time, especially in the first case, so I think this would apply with femininity in his genderbent form

For Ryunosuke I think she’d be butch because 1. Her haircut, I can’t imagine it long or anything, not saying that there can’t be short haired femmes but idk it just fits ryu to me, also I feel like ryu would be more “laid back” with her appearance, so it would come off as more masculine unintentionally

kazuma is a special case because he’s outspoken about social issues but nonetheless retains influences of a conservative mindset - him being very masculine as a man plays heavily into that. it’s why i really love the transfem kazuma headcanon, how post-canon she’d pull away from the idealised image of her father and a patriarchal standard to become her own person.

so yes i agree with you about how kazuma would be very feminine in 1-1, but at the same time i love the contrast of her presenting very masculine, as a political statement to others in a sense, but all the while falling back into stereotypical patriarchal ways of being !!!! how she’d consider her relationship with ryuunosuke, the role she’d play in a more intimate setting etc, there’s so much potential no matter how you turn it.

and if we consider it the other way around with ryuunosuke, he’s a little ignorant in 1-1, abides by the rules, etc, so as a woman she’d probably present more feminine at first, but would grow as you said into a more laid-back masculine look with her short hair. narratively speaking it’s got flavour !!!!!!! i love it sm !!!!!!
