V.1: Silent Pines, 1998 Special Credit: Silent Pines is heavily inspired by and uses a very similar style to the stunning @windbrook savefile by @folkling, the gorgeous portsim savefile by @florwal, and the amazing builds by @moonwoodmillz. Thank you all for your hard work, I take a lot of inspiration from you all. Silent Pines is a base-game only save file inspired by Life is Strange with 3 major worlds, a whole new set of townies, and a complete mystery to solve.

I used S4Studio to rename all the worlds, and I've decorated all the neighbourhoods with T.O.O.L. As I said before, Silent Pines is completely base-game friendly, absolutely no packs or kits are used. There is some custom CC, mainly posters that add to the story. The CC is one package file and adds nothing other than some customisation to the story. It is not required.

For example the missing poster of Cleo Emerson, a girl who disappeared under mysterious circumstances;

Customizable Audio Player

There’s probably at least a few of these kicking about nowadays, but so far none of them have suited mine or my wife’s purposes well enough.

So here we are, I made my own.

Follow the instructions in the readme to get started. I’ll be keeping the links in there up to date as I make any necessary changes, so refer to that for up to date information.

The player consists of a couple of pieces:

HTML code for the player’s visual elements on the page and the audio playlist.

Javascript for the player’s operation.

CSS code for the player visuals, with some provision for simplified adjustments to fit whatever theme you need.

Because the player essentially just becomes part of your Tumblr theme itself, you have full control over how it looks. I’ve given it some base styling to make it usable as-is, but if you want to completely change how it looks, where it goes, that’s entirely up to you.

If you have specific needs that are’t met with this implementation, feel free to file a Github issue or just send me an ask. I’m much more active on Github than I am here, though, so those will tend to get seen more quickly.

If you want to submit your own custom themes for the player for others to use, that’s where I’d ask you submit them to as well, please!

Of course, you’re more than free to send asks if you run into any difficulty using it.

Tumblr’s customize page is very buggy and when you first install the theme, you have to toggle the toggle options on and off to get them to work properly.

the navigation section in the sidebar has space for up to five custom links and as many Tumblr page links as you want. however, to get them to show up, you need to make sure the “Menu Navigation Section” option is enabled in the customization panel. 

icons are from phosphoricons; to change the icons, go to the phosphoricons site, find the name of the new icon you want, and input the name of the new icon into the relevant text fields in the customization panel.

You can separate your tags into subsections. Each section is a set of words wrapped by [ ], and each word must be wrapped by “ ” and separated by commas. The first word is always the section title. Also, each section must be separated by a comma, but note that the last section does not have a trailing comma. In the last example there are three subsections for tags, if you only want one subsection for your tags just copy and paste the following:

About hide captions: the captions will only be hidden in the main page, individual pages will show the full caption.
