i can definitely see him using tsaheylu as a way to comfort you when you are feeling down. like imagine you’ve had a hard day and you enter your marui all exhausted, using the remaining strength in your body to drag yourself inside and head straight to lay down.
he follows you, putting the things in his hands down and maneuvering you to sit in front of the little cooking area.
ao’nung is caging you with his frame, gently picking up your kuru and linking it to his.
immediately you feel the rush of your bond and lean back, molding yourself into his strong chest.
he leaves a trail of kisses wherever his lips can reach, one of his hands stroking your braid near where you two connect, sending shivers up your spine.
ao’nung’s other hand reaches to start brewing tea and preparing something for you to eat.
you are limp in his embrace, your hand splayed across his thigh and your head thrown back, leaning on his shoulder.
-`♡´-
the type to want eye contact at all times.
you might be working next to each other. you start talking about something, mindlessly jumping through multiple topics, your eyes set on the project in front of you.
ao’nung takes your chin between his fingers and angles you head to face him. you didn't notice him getting closer, so when you turn and he is almost breathing down your neck, heat spreads on your cheeks as you continue talking, stumbling over your words from his intense stare.
sometimes his petty ass gets fed up with you, he straight up ignores you until you realize what he wants and you have to come directly in front of him and then he is like, “now I'm listening.”
-`♡´-
after a long day of training, you are getting ready to go home, excited to finally spend some quality time with ao’nung. all you need to do is just pick up the abandoned pieces of riding gear.
some days you are in charge of teaching young metkayina kids riding ilus and handling smaller weapon.
it's fun and you love doing it, but as kids usually do, they always leave a mess behind them so it takes you some time to pick everything up and return it where it belongs.
you don’t realize ao’nung is impatiently waiting for you, pacing in front of your marui, worrying about the dinner he has prepared getting cold.
it doesn't take long before he is marching on the beach where you are standing, looking into the distance and taking a short break.
he comes up to you and he is like “i was waiting for you,” pouting his lips.
you try to explain that it's going to take you only maybe an hour and you can go home.
but of course he doesn’t listen, gripping your arm and gently leading you to sit your ass down before he starts picking up the remaining pieces and putting them away. you stand up, not wanting him to do it alone.
he bares his teeth, letting out a low hiss.
and so you lift your arms up in surrender and make yourself comfortable. If he is not going to let you help then you might as well just enjoy the view of your man purposely flexing his muscles.
-`♡´-
you are so close to having this top done, you are sitting in a circle with other metkayina artisans, hunched over your project. just a few finishing touches and you can finally return back to living normally.
obviously, you don’t even put it aside to drink or eat and that's where ao’nung comes in.
not very happy when he still sees you in the exact same spot you were hours ago.
he does not take it lightly when you don’t take care of yourself, always reminding you to take breaks and make sure to get at least some food in your stomach.
so he disappears for a few minutes and then comes back with his hands full of baskets filled with all kinds of fish and vegetables, making his way straight to your oblivious form.
he sits down next to you and without saying a word starts shoving a piece of fish in front of your mouth and waiting for you to take it. you look at him with a sheepish smile and lean your head forward to eat it.
ao’nung hums, satisfied with his actions as he continues to feed you.
and when he is done, he pets the top of your head, ruffling your braids, and is like “okay ma yawntu, now you can continue.”
Pairing: dark!Ao’nung x reader, dark!Neteyam x reader, dark!Lo’ak x reader
Warnings: slight dark content, fighting and pinning over, blood barely mentioned, some suggestive content, some sexual sense
Summary: your Ao’nung’s betrothed and he vowed to be the only one on your mind and would do anything to do that, even if it meant hurting others. When the sullys arrived, it seems as though they came to the same conclusion about having you.
Authors note: I lowkey didn’t want to make it too dark because I refrained from writing those, so I added in the dark content while also keeping it from being too much if that makes sense. There might be spelling error, please don’t mind those. English isn’t my first language and I have work in a little

Ever since you were young, your parents taught you two things: silence and obedience. It was known to everyone you and Ao’nung would be mated as you both got older seeing as though you were the daughter of the best lead hunter in the clan.
Your mother taught you that silence bought everything, it bought the love of the people and of your mate. Them, your father paired it with obedience: obeying your mate, especially the Olo’eyktan is the bare minimum any female could do.
Did you listen to any of it? Hardly, after all you always thought those rules were a bit tacky and old school. Why allow a women to stay silent when she herself has a voice that could help the mind of her mate? So, you would nod your head at their words, but also retort back when needed.
Being Ao’nung’s betrothed was a whole other story. You both grew up together and saw each others embarrassing and strong side, so when the news came of you guys, you both took it with a straight face even though under the skin you were fuming.
You knew this was coming, you even prepared for it, however a tiny part of you was hoping they would choose another for him. You cared about the man, truly, but you concluded that the both of you were better off as friends.
This idea was more confirmed when you saw how possessive he became over you. Ao’nung hated the idea of you talking to another man and would always show up at the most random time to stake his claim. Yes, everyone knew you both were meant for each other, but there was still skxawng’s who tried to get to you.
Ao’nung, sometimes letting the anger get to him, would grip your wrist and drag you away to the Mauri that would soon be the both of yours. He would roughly kiss you, hoping it gets through your mind that you are his and he is yours. Shock overcame you, but you allowed the kissing to continue as you deepened the kiss.
He knew better than to not get your consent before such acts, and that is one thing you can respect about him. Do you kissed him back, wrapping your arms around his neck as he trailed the kisses onto your jaw, neck, and chest.
“Why were you talking to him?” He said, continuing the kiss back up to your face.
“Ao’nung, we were merely discussing how his hunt went, nothing more.” You replied, holding a moan back because you knew once that moan was out, you guys wouldn’t leave the Mauri for a few hours.
He sunk his teeth into your shoulder which let out a hiss from you, “I don’t like him, the way he was staring at you. I knew what he was thinking.” He replied, earning a little slap from you.
“Ok, we can’t keep kissing forever, I have to help Tsireya with something.” You tried to remind him, “we can continue this later.”
His eyes darkened with lust and hunger ever time he watched you interact with the Na’vi clan. The way you smile and greet the others pitched a tent in his loin cloth. Every time a hunter came up to you, he was there to break that apart. He would go as far as to send them on a hunt in a specific part of the ocean just for them to come back injured. No one drew suspicion to him, after all he was the future Olo’eyktan.
Whenever it was time to eat, he would place you on his lap, legs wrapping around your figure to keep you locked in his embrace. At first you hated it, seeing that it drew unnecessary attention, but then you gotten so use to it that you expected it every time the both of you guys sat down.
Since you both have yet to be mated, you opted to sleep in your own Mauri, away from him. You knew once the both of you were officially together, you would have no personal space or peace of mind. However, him being the way he is, would crawl into your Mauri and spoon you in your sleep.
When it first happened, you slapped him around and yelled at him to leave, but then it kept happening and you just got use to it. The only reason you weren’t upset was because he finally asked permission.
And now, seeing how you were trapped in his embrace, you felt the arousal and knew what was going to happen after dinner. Whenever he got this way, he would make a lousy excuse to get the both of you to ‘bed’ early and would wound up staying up until it was almost dawn.
That man was whipped and worshipped the ground you walked on. You just didn’t know how far he would go so no other man would even infiltrate your mind, and even if you did know he wouldn’t be embarrassed about it. If it were up to him, you would be locked away in this Mauri so no man can ravish you with their eyes. But, you were also your own person and also worked with his mom so it wouldn’t do well.
You know this man had some dark side lingering underneath the surface, the way he would hold an iron grip on your wrist, drag you away, scowl you for talking to another man then go straight to kissing and touching you made you realize this man was different. No matter how much you reminded him that you were betrothed to him, it was as if hearing those wasn’t enough. He wanted to make love to you in front of everyone.
So when the Sully’s arrive, it was a heavy feeling between all three men. You remember like it was yesterday. After Uturu was granted and Tonowari demanded his children teach the Sully kids the way of the water, Ao’nung made it known how displeased he was with their presence.
Yes, the fact that they were aliens made him angry, but also he saw the way the two brothers looked at you.
The oldest, Neteyam, stared deep into your eyes until you finally noticed him. He gave you a smile and silently greeted you.
Seeing this, you brightened up and greeted him back. It made you happy knowing that you are going to make more friends in this clan. You didn’t care that they were half human or forest people, you were curious about their way and excited to learn. You even asked Tsireya if you can be there to teach them.
When he saw your face brightened up, Ao’nung knew he had to act fast. He spun you around and kissed you in front of everyone. He had his hand on the back of your neck to hold you tight for the kiss and everyone around awed at the sight of you two.
Neteyam and Lo’ak rolled their eyes seeing the way it was so obvious that he did this just to show off to them. Lo’ak wasn’t subtle like his brother, he made it loud and clear that you were beautiful and he wanted you. Simple as that.
So when the teaching came, the three of them had to remain patient with one another.
“Now that Tsireya told you guys what we shall be learning, I’ll go ahead and teach you,” your finger pointed at Neteyam.
Ao’nung interjected and shook his head, “actually, Yawne, I can teach them. I believe my mother needs you for something. You don’t have to worry about this.”
You tilted your head and squinted your eyes at him, “your mother never asked me, and if she didn’t need help surely she would come over here herself. Ao’nung, you can teach Lo’ak, ok?”
Knowing that there was no room for argument, he accepted your decision and swam over to the sully kid. He didn’t care about teaching him, almost making Lo’ak drown a few times, but he was just so worried about his Yawne that he had to keep an eye on her.
Seeing his brother get a better teacher, Lo’ak observed that two of you and smiled. “She’s so beautiful.” He muttered ti himself, however it was picked up by your lover who threw him a glare.
“Anything else out of that forest mouth of yours will cause you to drown to your death,” he responded, eyes darkening, “she is mine and I am hers. We are future mates.”
When evening approached, you were alone as you walked around the beach to find any shells and rocks for your next weaving project. Ao’nung was currently busy with his hunting duties, so this time you had enough alone time to do the things you wanted to do.
From afar, you were watched. You knew someone was there, but waited until they made themselves known.
“Hey,” the voice drawled out, matching their footsteps to that of yours, “want some company?”
You turned and came face to face with Neteyam. He had a smile on his face that brought warmth to yours. A part of you wanted to deny his request, seeing as though others can start rumors, but then another part of you wanted to a new friend. So, you accepted.
The two of you talked about everything, he explained the way he grew up and how different it was from the way of the water. He also talked about the current situation him and his family were in, and you offered your best advice while also listening and giving him comfort.
“Tell me more about yourself.” He says, picking up to inspect a random shell before tossing it behind him.
You tucked a hair behind your ears while trying to balance the shells and rocks in your hands. “Well, nothing much,” you laughed, “my father is the leader of the biggest hunt here, my mother is a weaver. I don’t have any siblings, so Tsireya is like my sister.”
He listened intently and watched as you bent down to brush away the sand that was covering a pink shell. Bending down to your level, he inspected the shell, but his eyes landed back on your face.
“This is so pretty! Finding a shell like this is sometimes rare!” You exclaim, excitement taking over your tone.
“Yeah,” he muttered, still staring at your face, “such a beauty.”
Your eyes snapped to him and how close he was. It was obvious he scooted close to you as his hand was grazing the back of yours.
You knew you should move away or tell him to back off, but you couldn’t find yourself to do so. he flashed a grin at you and lifted his hand to cup your face with such gentleness.
paralyzation took over you as he rested his forehead on yours, “The beauty of your face…” he muttered, “it’s beyond my wildest dreams.”
he placed a kiss on your forehead, then on your cheek, and then your nose.
“Neteyam,” you whisper, placing both of your hands on his wrist, “We can’t do this.”
his eyes darkened a bit, but he tried his best to he composed, “I know, i understand. But I do not wish to give you up.” he says.
silence hung between the both of you guys as you just stared into each others eyes. you didn’t know whether to lean forward or backwards, which you hated.
“Big bro, what are you doing?” a voice asked, causing the both of you to break apart.
You turned and saw Lo’ak walking up to you guys with a small scowl. But once his eyes landed on you, it turned into a bright smile.
“Lo’ak, what are you doing here? Aren’t you supposed to be with Tuk?” Neteyam angrily muttered, standing in front of him.
His brother just grinned at him, trying to gouge more of a reaction, “Mom and dad came home early, so I decided to look for you. And look what I see.” He gestures to the both of you, but then his eyes darkened with the tilt of his head, “you tried to get her to yourself, huh?”
Neteyam puffed his chest and stepped closer to his younger brother, trying to show some dominance. “Go. Home.” He said, poking his chest with every word.
You stood awkwardly to the side, trying to make sense of what Lo’ak meant. You didn’t understand what he meant when he said that Neteyam tried getting you to himself.
“Sorry, Syulang, we should head out. I’ll walk you back, Lo’ak,” he turned to his brother, “go home.”
He shook his head, “no, you’re not in charge of me.”
Seeing the tension rise, you decided to intervene. “It’s ok, I’ll walk back home. See you tomorrow for the lessons!”
As the next day rose, Ao’nung made his way to the beach with one thing on his mind: killing the Sully brothers. He spotted them next to Roxto, watching you and Tsireya swimming around with Tuk and Kiri.
“So, you touch what’s not yours is what I’m hearing.” He said, grabbing their attention. He stood tall in front of them, arms crossed and eyes dark. “Who do you guys think you are?”
Lo’ak smiled, “Oh, I didn’t know you owned her.”
Ao’nung pushed his shoulder in anger, “She is my mate.” He snarled, “she is mine. Me and her are to be mated in three weeks and I won’t let you guys ruin that.”
Neteyam stepped in between them, “let’s talk about this with maturity, not with fist and insults.” He tried to reason, “She isn’t yours, you guys aren’t mated.”
Those words were the last straw as a punch was placed on his cheek. Ao’nung got on top of Neteyam and started attacking him while also trying to pry of Lo’ak who was behind him trying to get him off of his brother.
“You piece of shit!” Ao’nung yelled, “she’s already spoken for and you dare try to make a move!?”
The noise caused you and Tsireya to run out of the water to try and break the three young men apart. You grabbed onto Ao’nung and pulled him toward you. His cheek was starting to turn purple from all the hits he received and blood was starting to form on his lip that was clearly split.
“Ma’ Ao’nung,” you say and softly brushed his curls out of his face, “why did you do this? What has gotten into you?”
Hearing the nickname you gave him put a heavy on both of the Sully brothers chest. They wished you would’ve yelled and left him there alone, but instead you’re comforting him.
“I had to, Yawne,” he said, “they were trying to get to you.”
That’s when you had enough and looked at the three with anger and frustration, “What is this? You guys fighting and trying to win my attention, why is that?” You yelled, “we are supposed to be at peace with each other under Eywa, but you guys are fighting….. over me?”
Lo’ak stood up and walked over to you, carefully grabbing your hands as to not scare you away, “we didn’t mean for it to get this bad, we didn’t even expect a fight until he threw the first punch. It was suppose to be under wraps. I apologize for my actions.”
That shocked everyone as it was usually Neteyam saying that, but Lo’ak decided to stand up and say something first. It was as if he copied everything his brother was going to say.
You just stared at him with horror and took your hands out of his grip, “this is insane from all of you. I am not some high prized fish you can stake your claim on, I am independent and Y/N, daughter of the best hunter in the clan. This is disgusting.”
Ao’nung pushed Lo’ak aide and cupped your face, “please. Let’s just go to my mother’s tent and we can talk there, as betrothed lovers.”
Seeing his eyes widen and his lips quiver made you lenient with him, “ok, we shall. However, all of you must come together tonight to talk things out or else I will get the Olo’eyktan involved and it won’t be pretty.”
As you and Ao’nung walked off, he made sure to turn around and give them a look to show that he will always win no matter what, and that, more than anything, fueled the brothers hatred and eagerness to win your heart.
