Everyone loves Pokemon!

The phenomenon began in 1995 and has only raged on since! It's 2019, and the franchise still holds onto their generation one fans and new alike! It's popularity has spread around the globe, and with each new trading card, new game, comes new experiences!

But no one really expected this.

You save your game file. You save it twice, just in case. Before you can power down, the game screen freezes, the music slows, octaves drop. The pixels on your screen shift out of place, the music freezes on one note, you can't move.

The screen goes black.

And just as suddenly, it comes back on, only to find your in-game character standing just outside their home and only three Pokemon in your party - Your starter, and two of your others, back to their first evolution. All your progress otherwise has been wiped.

You groan. You're frustrated. And rather than pick up from there, you shut your game off and head to bed. It was getting late, anyways, and you'll start again tomorrow ...

Stupid glitch.

You're woken up by the tough ground you find yourself on. Muscles ache, and there's a taste of iron in your mouth. You smell something reminiscent of burnt plastic. You blink your eyes open, meeting the gaze of a big pair of eyes staring back at you. You shut your eyes. You open them in a snap, sitting up like a shot, and suddenly realize you're not in your bed. The thing that had been staring at you jumps back, exclaiming a familiar sound in shock.

Is that ...
