Uh, well, I use the camera on my phone well enough that I've never needed to use anything better. Is it something you'd be interested in doing in general?

Yeah for our general purpose every day needs our phone cameras work well, but idk something like this I feel like a phone camera won't cut it.

I have been thinking a bit about photography, it would be nice to learn a new hobby or skill.

When we're ready to go ourselves we'll need to take a really nice camera so I can get pictures, too.
