I apologize for not having updated my GM Photography social profiles in a while. I have been preparing for my upcoming academic exchange in Chongqing, China. Now I am finally at my first destination: India. In a few weeks, I'll head straight to China. I still have lots to share and these next few months will give me much, much more. Stay tuned, folks! (at Qutub Minar)
Til midnight PST, get $5 off all laptop sleeves and phone cases on my #Society6 store! Take a look at availability at www.society6.com/gmphotography #photography #art #s6
A Visit to the Real Cuba by GM Photography Via Flickr: I'm excited to share with you the photo series of the folks with whom my family spent a day in their little town of Navajas, Cuba. Nelson, a worker at our resort, invited us to Navajas to see the "real" Cuba - and we jumped on the opportunity. Some powerful conversations, friendly people, and deliciously fresh food. What a day, this was.
Although I'm not a fan of economical conversatons, the topics of Cuban currencies CUP versus CUC alongside the communist government and the lift of the American embargo were quite prominent in many conversations. Therefore, I must request that you read this article explaining the situation in order to better understand some of the captions in this album: www.economist.com/blogs/americasview/2013/10/cubas-currency
