I feel like sjm is going pull the wandavision stunt of killing off Elian and cassian. In a way nesta is very similar to Wanda. I think Lucien and Elian are like Romeo and Juliet. Cassian is just a weight. He’s just keeping nesta cage up from her full potential. In a live interview sjm said it’s the beginning nesta journey and that she have an important role in the future. Nesta needs leave the night court because it’s holding her back her true self.

Is Crescent city worth the reading ? I haven’t started it cause I’m lowkey scared it isn’t as hyped as it is. Honest opinions, I heard good and bad reviews! Like is it true that the world building is like 300 pages long and THEN the action really starts? That’s like the majority of the book .

I’m ready to say my possible unpopular opinions about ACOSF
SPOILERS
1) Nessian needed more fluff and heart to heart moments. As much sexual tension as there was for the past 2 books I just wish in this book they focused on the actual lovey dovey parts
2) I said this before and I’ll say it AGAIN, I genuinely didn’t care that Mor was gone the majority of this book . Thank you .
3) WE NEEDED MORE AZ, i still feel like Az was barely in this book as well, I was sooo ready for more interactions with him
4) don’t hate me but I think it’s clear I LOVED the idea of Nesta and Eris. That ship has sunk to the bottom of the ocean to never see the surface again but I still think they would have been a POWERFUL ass couple..
5) ATLEAST more banter between Eris and Nesta was necessary. Sjm could have done so much more with them as a friendship and she just wasted it. I kind of wanted them to be like a Fenrys and Aelin. Him pining over her cause she’s just so fucking amazing and powerful and beautiful and her just chilling knowing she is amazing and powerful
6) Nyx is the cutest baby but his parents are DUMB. That’s it. That’s all . I love my feysand but they’re complete idiots
7) I genuinely don’t care care much about Amren and Tarquins relationship.. they spent a great amount of time minding their business as they should
8) ELAIN IS TOTALLY BEING SET UP TO BE EVIL. I am 100% HERE FOR ITTTTT. We need evil elain to try to kill them all and make Az go crazy trying to find her and idk maybe someone dies !?!?!?!?

Let's talk about mates in acotar.
I'm really over this and the blatant disregard to how this works because you don't want a certain ship to be endgame. Whether or not you have one mate or two. Mates are chosen by the cauldron and possibly the mother at birth. Which means...
Rhys and Feyre have been mates since birth
Cassian and Nesta have been mates since birth
Kallias and Viviane have been mates since birth
And yes that means....
Lucien and Elain have been mates since birth.
If none of them ever met, they would still be mates. Honestly, I dont believe that mates are ultra rare. Just that some of them live on opposite sides of the wall. Meaning the fae would never know. Clearly with Rhys, Cassian, and Lucien they knew almost instantly once they changed. Granted Rhys and Cassian met theirs months before turning and had suspicions. With Lucien its a little different because he met Elain moments before the bond snapped into place. Even so, he was drawn to her.
In short, the cauldron didn't alter her mate. It didn't give her the wrong mate. Because hers was already chosen years ago.
Now if you don't believe this or choose to ignore it, fine. If you honestly truly believe when Elain went in the cauldron it gave her a mate at that moment and it was the wrong one. Let me ask you this. The cauldron loves Elain right? So why would it give her the wrong mate? If the cauldron loved her it would give her the best damn match possible. Not the worst.
