Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger. [open, male/female ]
Minah likes to keep fit. Often pushing herself to work harder, to get better, be stronger and faster. She switches up her routine a lot, but as of late has taking a liking to the institutes facilities. After  a while, she meets [insert your muses name here] at some sort of class, (yoga, zumba, whatever floats your boat,) they become close and begin to âwork outâ together. These sessions are often followed by a lunch fit for a queen.Â
Chasing Ghosts. [open, male/female ]
[Insert your muses name here] had an âimaginary friendâ (which would be Minah dreamwalking) whilst growing up that they would play with in their dreams. Every night brought a new adventure, but what happens when we grow up? Imaginary friends leave right? But as [Insert your muses name here] grew up Minah never left, she continued to play, until [Insert your muses name here] left for college, (or whatever reason they may have left for) thatâs when [insert  What would you do if you saw yours on the street? Smiling, breathing, living? [Insert your muses name here] comes across their old âImaginary Friendâ all grown up, (perhaps in the library), what ensues next depends on the personality of the muse that fills up this spot.
Backseat Banter [open, male/female ]
[Insert your muses name here] whistles for a cab, only, Minah has her eye on the same cab, though, due to the hustle and bustle of the city neither of them notice. When the cab pulls up to the curb, they both enter on opposite sides, only noticing each other once theyâve pulled the door shut and the cab has begun to move forward to make space for other stopping cars. The pair decide to ride together seeing as theyâre headed for a similar destination, however, the travel time lasts a lot longer than expected due to heavy traffic. The duo use this time to get to know one another, and before their time is up, one offers the other out for a round of drinks.Â
Atishoo, Atishoo, they all fall down. [open, male/female ]
Itâs late, all students have left the library to return to their dorm, all except for one that is, because [insert your muses name here] canât put down their book. Minah climbs up a ladder to reach the top of the bookshelf in order to put a few books back, but when sheâs up there, and thunderous sneeze makes her jump, which results in her falling against the bookshelf. It topples down and [insert your muses name here] rushes over to find Minah sprawled out on-top of a mountain of books. Minah doesnât want to loose her position as a Librarian and so pleads with [insert your muses name here] to help her get it back to how it should be before sunrise, which leads to them pulling an all nighter, and getting to know each other whilst putting each book back in its rightful place. Â [Insert your muses name here] begins to visit the library more often from then on.
You've Got Mail! [open, male/female ]
Minah and [insert your muses name here] donât get along in real life, for whatever reasons, but online itâs a whole different story. Both Minah and [insert your muses name here] run blogs (similar to tumblr) where they regularly post things, though they both keep their identities secret. Minah goes by Minnie on her blog (original i knowâ) Somehow Minah and [insert your muses name here] begin to talk through their blogs, and eventually, after developing a friendship they decide to meet up with one another. What happens when theyâre face to face?
Good Taste [Open, male/female ]
Late night munchies has Minah out in search of cup ramen, though, when she gets to the store thereâs only one left. She reaches for it, but as she does [insert your muses name] does too. Awkward. Minah suggests that they share it seeing as there is only one left, but after eating it theyâre still hungry, and so buy a bunch of crap, go back to Minahâs place in Gold point, and pig out in front of the TV.
Just because someone stumbles and looses their way doesnât mean theyâre lost forever â Charles Xavier.
Little Dreams
His eyes widen and he just gave his best friend a disbelieving glare. ( Best friend? Could he still call her that? He wasnât too sure on where they stood with their friendship anymore, and he had to stop himself for a moment to really consider it. He had been so caught up in his hatred for his brother and in the whole disappointing his family thing that he had ever really considered who else he might affect with his leaving until he had left. And by that point, it was much too late to even try to fix anything he had ruined with his departure from the city. )
"Wait â someone tampered with your breaks? Youâre â youâre okay right? Nothing permanent?" He honestly felt a bit silly for asking these types of questions when she was obviously sitting perfectly alright and okay before him but he couldnât help himself. Maybe he was trying to make up for lost time, make up for the things he shouldâve asked and shouldâve been there for by doing it belatedly. Obviously, that wasnât how it worked but, well, it was worth a try right? Eyeing her as she took off his scarf â he wasnât kidding, he really did want that scarf back â Hongbin made a mortally wounded face as she held it on her lap instead of handing it back ti him. ( Obviously, he wouldnât be getting that scarf back anytime soon. He guessed he should probably invest in another one ⌠which she would probably also eventually steal, knowing her track record with his clothes. )
"My brother â?" He tried to sound surprised, having only seen him once since he moved to Genosha and had been blatantly avoiding him the entire time. "Yeah ⌠well. Letâs just say weâre not on the ⌠best of terms, at the moment." He didnât particularly feel like getting into the topic, though he was sure Minah knew enough of his predicament, having ranted to her more than once about how much he hated Taekwoonâs guts. But that didnât matter at the moment, considering their drinks were being brought over and he thanked his coworker with a smile before he sighed. "I guess ⌠we have a lot to talk about. Itâs been almost ten months since I left, right?" He scrunched up his nose, the guilt really hitting him now and he pushed his glasses further up the bridge of his nose from where they had been sliding down. "Is there anything you want to know?"
The widening of his eyes, and rather in-your-face glare doesn't go un-noticed by Minah, though, she doesn't address it either. In fact, she's too busy fiddiling around with the fabric that covers the length of her legs beneath the table--she supposes things would be a little less difficult if she had sat beside him, but she'd chosen to sit opposite for effect. She'd made her chair, now she'd have to sit in it. (wait, is that even a thing?) With her head dipped, Minah reaches out beneath the table to feed the fabric of the scarf through to the other side so that it laid across Hongbins legs too, though, she keeps it on hers as well. At least she's sharing a little, right?      "Yeah, it's kinda hard to believe huh?" she hadn't believed it at first, didn't want to, but she'd had to learn the hard way. "but it happened, and I'm alright--" but was she really? She couldn't afford to question herself when sat in front of him, so she simple allows the curvature of her lips to pull apart, a girlish laughter spilling free from cherry tiers. "nothing permanent no" a shake of the head accompanies her words, almost as if she's reassuring herself too. "Don't worry too much, what you can do though, is buy me one of those helium balloons, and some grapes, and read to me from some stupid teen magazine later tonight... if you want--" she sounds almost nervous after she's given out her little verbal invitation, it hangs in the air, makes her feel a little uncomfortable because what if he says no?       But then he asks if there's anything she wants to know, and it's almost as if he doesn't want to answer a thing. His posture, his expression, Minah doesn't want to press too much, doesn't want to know anything he doesn't want to tell her, doesn't want to have to ask, but there is one thing she's burning to know. One thing that has caused her pain, caused her hurt. One thing she needs to know. "Why didn't you at least call?" he could have been dead for all she had known, it'd been almost a year without contact, and he hadn't left so much as a text, not even an email, nothing. It was heartbreaking. "My number is still the same, you still have it right?"
Similar Tastes.
On most days, Minah would make sure she had eaten a good, hearty dinner so that she wouldn't feel hungry later on during the night. Why? Because she was still a little conscious of her weight, and she knew, if she ate late at night, then she'd only end up sleeping on it instead of burning it off. But then again everyone has their cheat day right? Tonight, just happened to be hers.      Breathing out  a silent breath of air, Minah watches as her breath fogs over. Remissnesses about the way she would run around in the cold breathing out hard in order to make herself look like some sort of smoke-breathing dragon until she wheezed. The thought alone brings a smile to her face. It starts out small, but spreads, and spreads, wider, and wider so much so until the very corner of her eyes are forced into crescent like shapes.       She enters the convenience store smiling still, her left hand curled around her coin purse, whilst the other pushed back stray strands of hair behind her ear. She hasn't really bothered much in the looks department, after all it is late, and she's sure they'll be hardly anyone around. And so quietly, Minah slips both hands into the pockets of her Pajamas, making her way over to where they stored her favorite cup ramen. She hopes to buy a few, just to keep them in the cupboard for when hunger strikes but when she sees the display there's only one there, oh and when she reaches for it, she's not the only one. God damn it.

Good Taste [Taken, Joohyun ]

Do you want to play Deductions?
It's five in the afternoon when Minah feels a wave of hunger wash over her petite body. It starts as a low grumble in the pit of her stomach, and a gnawing peckish feeling. But she's got another half an hour until she gets home yet, so she just guesses she'll have to put up with it for the time being. Well, that's what she tells herself at first, but by the time she reaches the end of the street Minah feels slightly dizzy.     "S'cuse me--" Minah mumbles moving past an idle woman, turning the corner and beginning again down another road, this one packed with people moving in and out of restaurants, bars, and other fun places like that. She shakes her head to herself--only once, telling herself she can hold out until she gets home. That she should be saving money by eating home cooked foods rather than eating out all the time, bt by the time she makes it halfway down the street her stomach growls again, this time louder than before, more urgent. I'm Hungry Minah it says. Feed me. it pleads. Now. it demands.      Gulping back Minah turns into the next restaurant she passes. She feigns a small smile whilst being shown to her seat, but it fades once she's left alone with the menu. She pours herself a glass of water and knocks it back before finally looking through the pages and pages of dishes, before she knows it she's out of water, and has hit the back of the menu.
Little Dreams
"You need to stop stealing my clothes Minâ â I think you had more of my closet than I did at one point in time," he chuckled, eyes widening as heâs suddenly tugged across the cafe to a table she had chosen, before forced to sit down abruptly. ( It was almost funny, he thought to himself, that someone as small as her was pushing and pulling him around like it was nothing. Maybe he had missed her more than he cared to admit. ) He raised an eyebrow curiously in her direction, an expression of amusement spreading slowly across his face as he took in her tone of voice and her stance.
"You know, you donât sound mad at me,â he pointed out chirpily, a dimpled smile appearing on his lips. He wants to say something about her ordering his coworkers around, and he greets the waiter that comes to their table with a smile and a lazy wave of his hand before he glances at the little menu on the table. He practically lived here on days that he worked, and no one was surprised that he came here when he wasnât working as well. It wasnât anything new â even back in Seoul he had practically lived at the Starbucks that he had worked at, once upon a different life. It was the free drinks. And free food. And free internet access. It was definitely not because he was addicted to coffee. Or caffeine. Or sugar, for that matter. Definitely the free internet.
Hongbin sighed a bit, unsure of what to say. He had definitely left before she had gotten into the coma, or he never wouldâve. He even remembered her telling him goodbye the night before he had packed up all the necessities and left Seoul, saying that she would see him âlaterâ. Well, this was definitely much, much later than she had thought. He crossed his arms over his chest after asking for his usual caramel macchiato, wanting something hot since his scarf had been stolen from him, and he rubbed his hands together gently as he leaned back in his chair. âA coma? What in the world happened after I left? It hasnât been that long ⌠just a couple months âŚâ
It had been much closer to a year, but saying that he had been gone for almost a year with no contact with his best friend â if she still considered the two of them that, that is â sounded so much worse than saying he had been gone for a couple of months. He had left at the beginning of spring, and it was nearing mid-Autumn now. It had been a long while. âAnyhow, your story is more interesting than mine. I just left because I was done with how my parents kept comparing me to my brother âŚâ He trailed off for a moment, glancing up at Minah with wide eyes after he had spoken. âIâm sorry for not telling you ⌠I didnât want you to stop me.â
Minah quietens when a member of staff begins to take Hongbins order, though after waiting her turn to order her own drink, this time a caramel iced frappe in lieu of a hot chocolate--seeing as she was quite literally wearing the one she had ordered not too long ago beneath the scarf she had taken from the male sat opposite her. She mutters a quiet thank-you before turning her attention back to her friend.      Were they even friends anymore? Whatever they were now, did it really count as a friendship? Minah, slightly bitter, isn't so sure. "Somone cut my breaks." Minah admits with a shrug, the only reason as to why she's  oh so indifferent in regards to the accident is because she knows she'll have vengeance--but Hongbin doesn't need to know that. "the road was wet, and it was dark, I lost control, and crashed the car, apparently, I was lucky to still be breathing when they brought me in." it's not a sob story, and she doesn't want, nor expect sympathy. "I work at the institute now, as a librarian, all clouds of grey have their silver linings."       The warmth of the cafe soon has Minah feeling a little too hot, so she finds herself peeling the scarf away from her body whilst Hongbin talks, though she does not hand it back over, she instead leaves it sprawled out across her legs. Old habits die hard. The scarf belongs to her now. "It makes sense now that you mention it, your brother though, isn't he too?" she's seen him around before, not that she's had the confidence to approach him, they've always been acquaintances and nothing more, hallway-friends if you will--you know those people you pass in the hallways, you awkwardly wave or nod your head and continue on your way without stopping. That was what Minah was to Hongbins brother. "Also, it's been a year, so you'd better be sorry" her tone a little harsher than before. "but you're right, I would have stopped you if you had told me"
Bumpy Ride.
Hyuna was bored out of her mind, and rightly so. Her prior employer thought it would be best for her to take her leave from the establishment, located on the campus of the institution (It obviously wasnât her fault that the student froze the whole building, then again a student tried to take her head off a week prior. Perhaps it leaving was for the best). This left her with more time on her hands than she appreciated. Minah was more than happy to help ease her boredom.
The room is dimly lit, barely enough light for most people to see. She sits on the bed, legs crossed with a coin in hand. It walks along her knuckles as she hums a tune, waiting for Minah to return with tonightâs game. You could never send Hyuna to catch them. Most would instantly run, tail between their legs, especially if they exuded enough nervousness. Not to mention she was picky about who would serve for good entertainment, her standards were impossibly high.
At the sound of the door creaking, the coin stops mid-step and a ghost of a smile appears on Hyunaâs face. The fun was about to begin. She easily strides over to the duo, curious to see who Minah had chosen for tonightâs game. âMy, my. What have we here?â Her voice feigns innocence as she scrutinizes him. Quite the catch and perfectly inebriated to the point where he would be oblivious to the situation. âOh this will be so much fun.â She smiles, running a hand down his arm, slowly pulling the poor soul to possible doom.
"His name is Minwoo," Minah informs, highly amused at the sudden expression of revelation that had appeared on the males face. She hadn't told him that there would be another woman waiting for him when they'd reached their destination, then again she hadn't really told him anything at all, apart from a name--not hers. "he's come to play with us," Minah continues, a slight emphasis on the word play, because she knows theres two meanings for it, well at least for the three in the room there was.      Minwoo, blissfully unaware of what was really being set into motion happily obliges, and follows Hyuna deeper into the room, he wears the biggest smile, and Minah can't help but pitty the young fool even if it's only a moment or two. "I'll get us some drinks babe," she informs, a devilish smile plastered across the cherry curvature of her lips as she steps around the pair towards a low-rise table. One she'd previously set up with three glasses, and a very special--special meaning laced with a sleep inducing pill--bottle of La Basier de la Mort .     She pours one glass, and then another, and another, until all three glasses are filled to the brim. She knows it'll only take two sips at most, and a waiting time of five minutes before the effects kick in, and the real fun begins, but she can't deny Minwoo at least a little fun on his part, he has after all been extremely kind to Minah along the way. "Here we go, one for you" Minah punctuates her sentence by handing a glass off to Minwoo who happily takes a sip, "One for you--" she then hands a glass over to Hyuna, keeping one last glass for herself "and one for me."
Books, the greatest weapons in the world.
Jimin could be a messâ he could have a broken arm, leg, and face⌠and heâd still have to go to school. Thatâs just how school worked. Right now, Jimin wasnât exactly feeling at 100%, but heyâ a little time passed by, and now he wasnât as terrified walking out of his room! Sureâ maybe the sight of anything bottle-like still made him panic internally, but he was finally beginning to calm down. It was a start.
Besidesâ it was November, now. And that meant Halloween was completely over. It also meant it was time to get ready for Christmas! There was absolutely nothing terrifying about Christmas! It meant gifts, and happiness and togetherâŚness? Yeah. Jimin was excited for it.
All of that put aside, he had to get his head back in the game. What was he doing again? Rightâ school. Totally not thinking about Christmas.
Maybe he should get Kooks that new pair of headphones that he wanted? Ohâ and he should totally get a new pair of shades for his super-cool Ducky hyung! And maybe for the alienâ something shiny. He was pretty sure his giant hyung would like something along those lines, too. And maybe forââ
"Whaâ whoa!" A voice brought him out of his deep train of thoughtsâ and realizing how close it was, he was the slightest bit startled. Jimin blinks a few times before putting back on a goofy grin, looking between the girl and the book he was supposed to be taking notes from. He hadnât even gotten past the first sentenceâ but heyâ that didnât really matter.Â
"Ohâ hey, yeah! I uhâ ⌠you know, that thing was super-lame anyways! Pfftâ ha!" By lame, he meant that the hotel totally scared him out of his witsâ but that part was pretty trivial. "Anyways, Iâve been reading this thingâ uh.â He looks back down at his bookâ and⌠well, he was completely lost. He stuck his thumb in the seam to keep his place, lifting the cover just enough to look at the title. âOh. Pffâ yeah. Biology. Iâm like, totally interested in⌠uh.â He knew nothing about biology. Uh-oh. His gaze quickly turned to the pages, as if he would somehow discover something that would make him seem intelligent.
"Letters and numbers and stuff."
Jimin's somewhat startled expression mutating into that of a goofy grin merits him the smallest of smiles from the brunette sat close by. "Do you pay this amount of attention in class too?" Minah questions, fingers curling around the tops of her knees "Is that why you have to come to the library?" So maybe she sounds rude, but in all honesty, she's just jesting, in fact, she adores all those who come to spend time in the library.       She nods once, twice, three times once he gives her affirmation of his identity--she knew she had seen him somewhere before, albeit it briefly. "Actually, it was pretty spooky after a while" the brunette confesses, or a moment remembering back to her chilling time spent within the hotel. "by spooky, I mean terrifying so you know, man,no one blames you for being a little scared, I'm sure everyone was." even if they didn't show it, Minah was damn near certain, that everyone had felt frightened at least once dring their stay--and well if they didn't, props to them.        The more Jimin talks, the more aware Minah grows of just how little he's educated in the subject.  "Letters and numbers and stuff?" again her tone is quizzical, a drop of sarcasm in there somewhere too. "Seems like you've got Biology down to a T." she mutters, reaching out for the book "do you mind?" Minah asks but does not allow enough time for a response, she's already curling her fingers around the hardback and dragging it closer towards her.       "Human health and disease--" a brow quirks as Minah reads one of the subheadings. "Epidemiology? I didn't know they did that here, then again I suppose it's helpful to be well versed in these things" not that she was incredibly interested in the subject at hand, Minah can't help but notice his blank page, and she wonders if he'll ever get anything done alone. "You know, I can help you... I mean, if you want me to that is."
