So i wrote lyrics and did some vocals for fun on an instrumental while Garden of Ashes is working on our next project! Our engineer had no part of mixing since this is just a personal little thing, forgive the quality, I’m no producer. This song, Havhick, was written as a sort of anthem for those who suffered, the ones left behind after tragedy. A bit of…respect directed your way I guess. Just know I’m glad you stayed.

Anjin is a song definitely not within my comfort zone. i wanted more emotional fry sound than just death growls. fittingly this story is about searching for your desire in a strange and scary new place. look towards the sea and venture on, it's worth it.

Hey guys, another practice song during our polishing up of full length album. this one may be the best I've done so far at the date of recording. a very cool story, heavily influenced by MGS 5 which i was playing at the time. A story about a man forced into being a key shaper of the future, not due to fate or prophecy, just being in the right place at the right time. this was all around a super fun song to do, regardless of the amazing instrumental. Loved trying something new with my vocal VST to achieve that far away sound, really upped the creepy factor. hope you like it!

The Amaurosis was a fun song to record. From the lyrical standpoint, it's just one chapter from a full story that hasn't been revealed yet. From the vocal side this song marked an improvement in my confidence. On some of the other ones we have done I've played with cleanish vocals, with heavy fry and compression mostly, but always screams were my comfort zone. Here I just let go with forcing what I've felt was best. Clean, lows, highs, I had no plan, I just wanted to convey hurting. A story about someone forcing themselves to accept who they are turning into and pretending to like it. Hope you enjoy!
