Last weekend I made some sugar cookie “nachos” with vanilla cream cheesey dip at my best friend’s request for our ladies night get-together and they were kinda like a superior homemade, from-scratch adult version of Dunkeroos lol

Tricky part was getting the hang of making them bake into a nice curve, took some trial and error… I ate the errors :X

Best Rare Cheese cake ever

先週作ったレアチーズケーキは自分でも納得の味に。

スイーツ作りを現在進行中で失敗し続けてる僕ですが、わずかなグラム単位の間違いが、作業内容の正確さが、一見いらなそうに見える小さな一手間を省くか否かが、結果を大きく変える、そのストイックさと正確さ を求められる緊張感が好きで、スイーツ作りが割と楽しいこの頃。出来上がった時の満足感が料理とは少し異なるのです。

しかし、一度だけ上手く出来たというのはビギナーズラックのようなものなので、毎回クオリ ティが安定するように、現状に満足せず、常に高みを目指して日々努力あるのみ。

「準備を怠るな」「時間は正確に」「どんな工程にも意味がある」「ディテールにこだわりを」「楽と妥協だけはするな」「現状に満足するな」

目の前のチーズケーキが、社会人としてあるべき姿勢を、僕に指南してくれるのである。
