Honestly the only thing i can reasonably take from this is that for far too many people their problem with lolcowing, kiwifarms and all things of the kind is that, they want to be the ones choosing the targets?

That's at least the only way i can understand the way so many pepople on this app act. Like, they do want a cow to laugh at and harass, they just need it to be one of the Bad people so they can feel progressive about it? That is the way they act after all so, it's hard to figure it's anything else. It's, deeply horrible, to think that their problem with kf is just the transmisogyny, i suppose.

Let it be reminder also that there can't be a category of people it's acceptable to lolcow or treat like that. The second there is, you ally yourself with fascists, you are one, if only for a time.

Let this be a reminder, i think, honestly. Because this isn't just, bad people being bad. It's a feature of the way our society is built, and we need to remember that it is, and that we are not beyond it (as for all things).

So let this be a reminder that, I don't think there is a kind of person who deserves to be paraded around and laughed at. I don't think that there's people that are simply too perverted, stupid, or disgusting, that their behaviour should be found funny. I think that finding someone funny despite themselves, because they act stupid, nasty, or wrong in some way, can only come from a reactionary place, of convincing ourselves we're good and they're bad, by pointing and laughing at the animal on the other side.

So let's try to remember that, going forwards.

And one addition to that, I don't believe that "trolling" can exist as anything but a tool of the opressor, functionally. I have not seen it exist in any other way, in my life, and on this site. "Trolling", like all edgy humor is a way for the opressor class to reassert their dominance of the opressed, through framing the opressed as a tool, as lesser, as an object to make fun of. I don't think there's a difference then between "trolling" and "lolcowing".
