I couldn't quite capture it on camera, but the sky is very dark and yellow this morning. Everything is yellow. There's currently 37 active fires in my area. Almost none of them are under control.

I love writing things down, amd keeping track of things. I started stretching my ears on May 28th, today I just went up a gauge so it took a bit over a month to go from a 12 gauge to a 10 gauge. Slow progress but progress, I was very excited to finally go up a gauge.

We found a little friend in front of our house yesterday. He's very cute, probably only a few more days until he builds his cocoon. He's putting a bit of a hold on re-doing the front garden, but that's okay. We can wait 2 more weeks, im excited to watch him grow.

Pretty sky at work. Even though it's painfully hot and humid out, I have to remember to deal with it. My Lord went through far worse. The least I could do is endure the struggles in my life to the best of my ability for him.

Another pretty evening. Next week should bring thunderstorms and rain, So I'll enjoy this while it lasts.

The last few days have been very rainy. Today another down pour and some thunder. The God of the sunlight is the God of the rain, both are needed so things may grow and bloom.

A lovely morning today. I sat outside with my coffee and Bible for a good hour this morning. I love reading outside and hearing to birds chirping. The morning air smells clean and like flowers. I got a few visits from humming birds this morning. Their wings buzz so loudly from the speed they are moving. I read three chapters of Proverbs.

I saw a post about how blogs eventually becoming more about what gets likes and less of what you actually enjoy. That hurt my heart, even though my photos get more likes, I never want to stop posting random personal stuff. Ehat I had for breakfast, albums, songs, movies, shows, stretching my ears and whatever is on my mind. I never want this to become about likes or comments, though it feels nice to be recognized. That's not the point of blogging. It's supposed to be about you, or something you enjoy, not just whatever is most popular

I bought all of Greta Van fleets albums. The last one came in today. They are amazing to listen to. This is one of my favorites on their newest album.

Berries and coffee for breakfast this morning. I spent about a good 45 minutes cleaning the kitchen and living room before I sat down to have my breakfast. I can't relax much in a messy home. My mother thought I was crazy for starting to clean at 10am. But I feel better when there's no mess or clutter. Now I get to enjoy some quiet time with my breakfast and my Bible.

I'm so excited,my package finally came in. I got a little desk fan and gauges 14 to 00 so I can stretch my ears. I'm starting with the 12 gauge. I'm not sure what I'm going to stretch my ears to, I was thinking to an 8 gauge. But now that I'm seeing the sizes in person the 2 gauge doesn't look that big. I don't think I'll go to the 00 gauge, it looks a bit too big for my liking. But I'm very excited to stretch my ears. Both my parents have theirs stretched.

We've been getting more beautiful sunny days now. Finally getting up to over 20°C here. It was nearly 30°C just the other day.

An older photo, I'm hoping to get more rest time soon. I've been trying to fit as much into a day as I can, but that's hard to do since it isn't really resting. There's so many things I enjoy, and so much to do. Yet everything takes longer than you think it will.

Work has kept me very busy these past few weeks. Our busy season is starting up and giving me little time to do anything more than resting after work. But at least it's warming up here. Somehow there's still snow in spots. We had a day that got to 20°C and some of the snow is still standing.
