jax is a semi-good cautionary tale. heavy on semi because the others forgive him way too quick but i do feel bad seeing them have fun while he’s just a vegetable in a tent.
HE DID THIS TO HIMSELF and the others could’ve in no way prevented this (and honestly zooble is SO kind for reaching out in ep7 after everything he did to them, so is ragatha for not airing his business) .. i really wanna make it clear that the others are saints to me but i think it’s pretty human to still feel empathy for his situation. he hurt people to the point of no return, drove everyone away, and now he’s gone and there’s nothing left but a lobotomized version of himself. it’s sad. i can’t say it’s not deserved but it’s sad. he died not even knowing his IRL self is doing well. he died MISERABLE. at least pomni was there but knowing you’re leaving behind the only person who cares for you is… heck he was terrified and didn’t want to leave until the very end.
i still don’t know how to feel about this ending :’) some people are really beyond your saving . and tbh did he even deserve said saving? it’s a miracle pomni still cares for him . he’s lucky to have died in her arms
